00:13Alhamdulillah
00:30To gather in his noble house
00:34The Beit of Allah, the Masjid of Allah
00:37His house on this blessed day of Yom Al-Jum'ah
00:42Sayyiduna Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam said
00:47Khayru yawmin feehi tali'at al-shamsu yawmal jum'ah
00:51Tunaqal Alayhi Sallatu Wasallam
00:54In the summary Sayyiduna Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said
01:00That the best day in which the sun rose
01:02Is the day of Friday
01:05And also Sayyiduna Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said
01:10Fihi khuliqa Adam
01:12That in it Sayyiduna Adam Alaihi Wasallam
01:17Was created
01:19So this is a very very blessed day
01:22A day of mercy
01:23A day of happiness
01:27This is a day of Eid for the Muslims
01:30And inshallah we should honor
01:31And the takareem of this blessed day
01:35Allah Almighty says in the Quranul Kareem
01:39In Surah Kahf
01:43Inna alladhina amanu wa'amilu as-salihati kaadat lahum jannatul firdausi nuzula
01:53That indeed those who are Muslim
01:57Those who believe
01:58And those
02:00Who they done good deeds
02:04For them
02:05They will be in jannatul firdaus
02:08As an enjoyment
02:11They will be hosted by janatul firdaus
02:16And then Allah Almighty mentions
02:18That they will remain in there for eternity
02:24Also Allah Almighty says
02:27In the Quranul Kareem
02:33That in jannatul firdausi nuzula wa'amilu as-salam, they will not hear any love
02:46That they will not hear any land, they will not hear any love, they will not hear any play, any
02:53uselessness
02:54They will not hear any uselessness and there will be no Itham, there will be no sins.
03:09There will only hear the statements of Salaam and Salaam.
03:17So this shows the great, great Mi'ma of Jannah.
03:24And it's mentioned in Tafseer al-Tabri.
03:29There's a hadith of Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
03:33which can be found in the Arba'een of Imam al-Naburi,
03:38that As-Sawmu Jinnatun,
03:41that the fasting, which is not a Sawm in Arabic, this is a Jannah.
03:48Jinnatun, As-Sawmu Jinnatun, this is a shield.
03:55And look at the blessed prophetic words of Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
04:01That the word Jinnatun, this means such a shield which cannot be seen.
04:11So when someone fasts, when someone keeps on, he is Sa'im, he is someone who is fasting,
04:18then he has a shield which people they cannot physically see.
04:23Because fasting is something which a person, he cannot physically see.
04:27But this is a shield.
04:29So it's mentioned in Tafseer al-Tabri, that the word Jinnatun, as I mentioned,
04:37this means a shield that cannot be seen.
04:40Because the person, he remains in the state of fasting.
04:42But the person, the onlookers, they cannot physically see the fast itself.
04:47But it is a shield thing.
04:50And the root letters of this word Jinnatun are Jinnatun, known and known.
04:58So if we look at other words that have the root letters, which are known as Haruf al-Asqiyah in
05:03Arabic language,
05:05other words which have Jinnun and known.
05:08For example, the word Jinn.
05:12Jinn, the creation Jinn, is something which cannot be normally seen.
05:18It's something that cannot be seen in its original form.
05:22So Jinnah is such a shield which cannot be seen.
05:28Jinnah is such a shield which cannot be easily seen by the eye.
05:34I mentioned Jinnah, this means a shield, such a shield which cannot be seen easily, cannot be seen.
05:44Okay?
05:44So Jinn, known and known.
05:45Jinnah, the root letters of Jinnah are Jinn, known and known.
05:48And it's something that cannot be seen by someone.
05:51Then we have the word Jinn.
05:54Jinn cannot be seen by someone.
05:57We have the word Jinn.
06:01Jinn, meaning someone's heart.
06:04The heart is something which is hidden inside the body.
06:07Someone cannot see their heart easily.
06:11The word Jinnah, meaning Gauders.
06:15Gauders of Jinnah.
06:17This is something which cannot be seen at the moment.
06:19So we see that the word, the Haruf al-Asliya, Jinn, known and known.
06:24This can give the meaning of something which cannot be seen.
06:29Ghaib al-Ain.
06:31Something which is hidden from the eye or something which is hidden from the modalities to perceive.
06:39So the word Jinnah, this also has the root letters Jinn, known and known.
06:45Because Jinnah is something which at the moment it cannot be seen.
06:50Something which is hidden at the moment.
06:55But it will be attained by those people who Allah Almighty mentions,
07:03That indeed those who are Muslim and those who done good deeds.
07:08Those people will be able to see that Jinnah.
07:11And this is a Nirmah.
07:13This is a bounty which is saved and it is hidden for those who are Muslim and those who do
07:21good deeds.
07:24So there are many fadail of Jinnah.
07:36So Allah Almighty says in a Hadith Qudsi.
07:43So Allah Almighty says in a Hadith Qudsi.
07:47So Allah Almighty says in a Hadith Qudsi.
08:13I have saved for my slaves, my pious slaves, such a thing which no eye has seen, which
08:28no eye has heard, and no foot has even crossed the heart of any human.
08:37This is mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih al-Muslim, the Sahih al-Sahihim.
08:44And also Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
09:00That Jannah is such a place which no eye has ever seen, no air has ever heard, and no
09:08foot has ever crossed the heart of any human.
09:17And also Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, in the summary he said,
09:24موضع صوت في الجنة خير من دنيا وما فيها.
09:32That in the summary, Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he says that Jannah
09:48is such a place
09:52that is
09:53better than the entire
09:56dunya and everything
09:58that is in it.
10:00Jannah is better than the entire
10:02dunya
10:03وما فيها
10:04and everything
10:05that is in Jannah
10:09everything
10:10that is in the dunya.
10:11So Jannah is better than all of the dunya, all of the world, and everything by its end.
10:17SubhanAllah.
10:18Allahu Akbar.
10:24So this shows the great importance of Jannah.
10:28SubhanAllah.
10:30The great importance to strive for Jannah.
10:33So we should always try
10:37to ask for Jannah.
10:38Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he says
10:41in the summary
10:42that whenever you ask Allah
10:44you should ask Him for
10:46Jannah al-Firdaus.
10:48Because Jannah al-Firdaus
10:50this is the highest rank of Jannah.
10:53The highest level of Jannah
10:54is Jannah al-Firdaus.
10:56And as I mentioned in the ayah of the Quran,
10:59Surah Kahf
10:59inna al-l adheena amanu
11:01wa amila as-salihati
11:03kerat lahum jannah al-Firdausi
11:06nuzula
11:06Ineed, those who are Muslim
11:08and those who dot good deeds
11:10their jannah al-Firdaus
11:12will host them
11:13There will be
11:13in Jannah al-Firdaus
11:14and they will never live from there.
11:16And Allah Almighty mentions later
11:18that
11:19there will never want
11:20to be from there.
11:21The inhabitants of Firdaus
11:23they would never want to leave from Jannah to the freedom.
11:26This is the great ni'mah of Jannah.
11:29And as I mentioned in the hadith,
11:31we said in Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
11:33qala Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
11:36fil jannati ma la aeenu ra'at,
11:39wala udhanam sami'at,
11:40wala khatera ala qalbi basharin.
11:43That in Jannah,
11:44it is such a place that no eye has seen,
11:47no air has heard,
11:49and no thought has ever crossed the heart of a human.
11:53So this is the great, great ni'mah,
11:56the great father of the great ni'mah of Jannah,
11:58which will all strive for this.
12:01And it's mentioned in the hadith of Sayyidina Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
12:06that when the person of Jahannam,
12:10when a person who lived a very, very luxurious life,
12:15he only saw luxury in his life,
12:17when he is placed into Jahannam for a moment,
12:20he will say,
12:23when he is taken out,
12:24and he will be asked that,
12:26have you ever seen any luxury in your life?
12:29And he will say,
12:30I've never seen any luxury in my life.
12:32I've never seen any goodness in my life.
12:35I've never seen any khair.
12:36The person who saw luxury his entire life,
12:40when he's placed into Jahannam for a moment,
12:43he's just placed into Jahannam,
12:44he will be taken out,
12:46then he will be asked that,
12:48did you see any luxury in your life?
12:50Did you see any khair in your life?
12:52Any enjoyment?
12:53He will say,
12:54that I've never seen any enjoyment in my life.
12:56This is how Shadeed,
12:58how tough the Adhaabah of Jahannam is,
13:01how Shadeed it is.
13:04That when the person,
13:05he only saw hardship in his life,
13:08person he only saw worry in his life,
13:11a person,
13:11he struggled in his life.
13:14When he's placed into Jahannam for a moment,
13:16he'll be asked that,
13:18have you seen any struggle in your life?
13:20He will say,
13:21I've never seen any struggle in my life.
13:24So this is the great nama of Jahannam.
13:26Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam,
13:29he said that Jahannam is surrounded by desires.
13:36Hawa,
13:38Nafsani khwaisha.
13:41So Jahannam is surrounded by desires.
13:47If a person keeps fulfilling his desires,
13:49Jahannam is surrounded by desires.
13:52So a person who is a taubi',
13:54he keeps fulfilling his desires,
13:58he keeps doing haram,
14:00if Allah wants,
14:01he will enter into Jahannam.
14:03And Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam said,
14:07Jannah is surrounded by difficulties and hardships.
14:12Jannah is surrounded by difficulties.
14:16So a person who keeps fulfilling his desires,
14:20a person who keeps fulfilling his nafs,
14:22he will be on the path to Jahannam.
14:25And if Allah wills,
14:26Allah will enter him into Jahannam.
14:28And the person who faces worries,
14:33a person who faces struggles,
14:35he is on the path to Jahannam.
14:38And if Allah wills,
14:39Allah will enter him into Jahannam.
14:41So a person who shouldn't be down,
14:42he shouldn't get upset.
14:44If he has a lot of struggles in his life,
14:46Inshallah he is on the path to Jahannam.
14:50And Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam,
14:53he said,
15:02And whoever went on the path to learn Islamic knowledge,
15:06Allah will make a path easy for him to Jahannam.
15:10So we have wasail,
15:11we have means of entry into Jahannam.
15:13There are different ways,
15:14different actions that we can do to enter into Jahannam.
15:17For example,
15:18Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam said,
15:21that Allah Almighty,
15:23He has 99 names.
15:25Whoever memorizes them will enter Jahannam.
15:28This is family Sahih al-Bukhari this harith.
15:32Also Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
15:35he said,
15:36مَنْ صَلَّ وَرْضَتَيْنْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةِ
15:38That whoever prayed to two cold prayers,
15:43He will enter Jahannam.
15:45And the Mufassirin,
15:46the Muhaddifin,
15:47they mentioned that the meaning of the Bar-da-tay,
15:51this could mean the two prayers,
15:54meaning Asar and Fajr.
15:57Bar-da-tay,
15:59meaning the two cold prayers.
16:00The commentators,
16:04they say two cold prayers,
16:08it could mean Salat al-Asar
16:10and Salat al-Fajr.
16:13Okay.
16:15Also Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam.
16:20He told us many, many different ways
16:23that a person who can attain Jannah.
16:25For example, the famous hadith,
16:28مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَا إِنَ اللَّهَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةِ
16:30that whoever said La ilaha illallah,
16:32he will enter into Jannah.
16:34Meaning that whoever is a Muslim
16:35and whoever dies as a Muslim,
16:37he will enter into Jannah.
16:39So there are many, many different ways
16:41of people,
16:43the way they can attain Jannah.
16:44Also Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
16:46he said in the summary,
16:48that whoever did not argue about something
16:53and he was in the wrong,
16:55I promised him a house in the outskirts of Jannah,
16:58in the edges of Jannah.
17:00Whoever doesn't argue while he is in the wrong,
17:04I promised him a house
17:07around the outside of Jannah,
17:10the edges of Jannah.
17:12And whoever doesn't,
17:16whoever doesn't argue while being correct,
17:19then even though he wasn't wrong,
17:20whoever doesn't argue,
17:21I promised him a house in the middle of Jannah.
17:25So this is the fada'il of Jannah.
17:28And these are different ways
17:29that we can attain higher ranks in Jannah.
17:31Also Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
17:33he says famous hadith,
17:35that whoever made a house of Allah,
17:40whoever built a masjid,
17:41Allah Almighty will make a house for him in Jannah.
17:45So there are different ways
17:46that a person,
17:47he can attain a higher rank in Jannah.
17:51Also Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
17:54he said,
18:12So there are many ways
18:14that a person can attain higher ranks in Jannah.
18:16This is something that we should strive for,
18:18something that we should have desire for.
18:20When we make dua to Allah Almighty,
18:22we should ask you for Jannatul Firdaus.
18:24Allah Almighty says in the Quranul Kareem,
18:27Udu'uni astajib lakum.
18:30Make dua to me,
18:31I will accept your dua.
18:33So we should make dua to Allah.
18:34Oh Allah,
18:35Allahumma nas'aluk al-jannah.
18:37Oh Allah,
18:38we ask you for Jannatul Firdaus.
18:40Allahumma nas'aluk al-jannah al-firdaus.
18:43Oh Allah,
18:43we ask you that you give us Jannatul Firdaus.
18:46We should make this dua regularly,
18:48inshaAllah.
18:49Allah,
18:49one of his names is Al-Mujeeb,
18:51the acceptor.
18:53We should make dua to Allah.
18:55InshaAllah,
18:56he will accept all of our du'as.
18:58So Jannah is that dar,
19:01dar al-sa'ala,
19:02dar al-falah,
19:04that dar al-khair,
19:07that dar,
19:07that place,
19:08which is full of goodness,
19:10which is only goodness.
19:12And as we heard part of the ayah,
19:16that people in Jannah,
19:17they will only hear salam.
19:19They will only hear goodness.
19:21There will not be any la'ib.
19:24There will not be any la'um.
19:26There will not be any uselessness in Jannah.
19:31There will not be any kithr.
19:32There will not be any lying.
19:34People will not lie to one another.
19:36And also as mentioned in the ahadith of Sayyidina Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
19:41that when a person of Jannah,
19:42when he sees another person of Jannah,
19:45and he likes his clothes,
19:46he sees his clothes,
19:48and he likes his clothes,
19:49he will then look at himself,
19:51and he will also be wearing a better clothing than what he is wearing.
19:55This is the blessings of Jannah.
19:57That when the person in Jannah,
19:59when he's in Jannah,
20:00and he sees the other person wearing beautiful clothes,
20:02when he looks at himself,
20:04when he looks at his own clothes,
20:06and he's himself,
20:07then he will see that the clothes that he is wearing
20:09is better than the clothes of the person he looked at.
20:13So it is a place of blessings,
20:15a place of barakah.
20:17And also is mentioned
20:23that in Jannah,
20:25the greatest blessing
20:26is to see Allah.
20:29That the ahl of Jannah,
20:31they will see Allah in Jannah.
20:34Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,
20:37that
20:40كما ترون القمرا ليلة البدر
20:44That you will see Allah,
20:45كما ترون القمرا ليلة البدر
20:49The way that you see the moon on the full 14th night.
20:55When the moon is on the 14th night,
20:58it is at its fullest.
21:00We say, you know, the 14th night.
21:03So on the 14th night of the Islamic month,
21:07the moon is at its fullest.
21:10So Sayyidina Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,
21:13that you will see Allah in Jannah.
21:16The ahl of Jannah,
21:17the people of Jannah,
21:18you will see Rabbah kub,
21:19you will see your Rabb,
21:21كما ترون القمرا ليلة البدر
21:24The way that you see the moon on the 14th night.
21:28Subhanallah.
21:30So the people of Jannah,
21:31they will be able to see Allah in Jannah,
21:34the way that we can see the moon on the 14th night.
21:39This hadith is found in Sahih al-Bukhari
21:41and in Sahih al-Muslim,
21:43the Sahih ayyid.
21:44So these are some of the blessings of Jannah.
21:46And in Jannah, there is no sadness.
21:48Allah mentions also in the Quranul Kareem,
21:50ala inna awliya allahni la khawfun alihim wa la hum yahzanuhun.
21:56That,
21:57behold,
21:58Allah says in the summary,
21:59the translation of this ayah in the summary is,
22:02behold,
22:04indeed the friends of Allah.
22:07Behold,
22:07indeed the friends of Allah,
22:09there is no fear upon them.
22:11And they are not the ones who will feel any grief.
22:14Imam al-Tahawi,
22:15he mentions in Akidat al-Tahawiyah
22:16that,
22:17that every Muslim,
22:20he has a darajah of wilayah,
22:22he has a level of being a wali,
22:24that aslan,
22:26in its real meaning,
22:28that every Muslim is a wali of Allah Tuharaku wa ta'ala.
22:31Because he is Muslim,
22:33and he has,
22:34he has,
22:36that Allah loves him.
22:37So he is a wali of Allah Tuharaku wa ta'ala.
22:39Every Muslim is a wali of Allah Tuharaku wa ta'ala.
22:42Then there are different ranks of wilayah,
22:44for example,
22:45both and abdal,
22:46different ranks.
22:47But every Muslim is a wali of Allah Tuharaku wa ta'ala.
22:52So,
22:53Allah Almighty says,
22:55Allah Almighty says that the awliya,
22:57there is no khawf upon them.
22:58La khawfun alihim.
22:59They will not feel any fan.
23:00wa lahu biyahzanun.
23:02So in Jannah,
23:03people,
23:04they will not feel any fan.
23:05And they will not feel any grief.
23:07They will only be happy in Jannah.
23:08So we should work for this.
23:23wa sallalallahu ala ala sayyidina muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sallim.
23:27إن شاء الله له هالآبان الأول
