The Devil's Forbidden Fruit tells the unusual story of Ella, a cultural relic restorer who becomes connected to Hades, the King of the Underworld, after an unexpected encounter with an obsidian statue.
Ella is humiliated by socialite Chloe and forced to kiss the statue, unknowingly awakening Hades after three thousand years of slumber. From that moment, Ella discovers that she alone can see and sense the ancient King.
Hades lingers beside her and uses his divine power whenever Ella faces trouble. Chloe and Ella's ex-boyfriend Jason attempt to bully and frame her, but their schemes repeatedly fail as Ella gains unexpected supernatural protection.
With Hades at her side, Ella begins to overcome the people who tried to hold her back and eventually rises to become the head of the restoration department.
The Devil's Forbidden Fruit combines fantasy romance, supernatural mystery, workplace drama, betrayal, and a powerful female lead.
