Heavy rain and thunderstorms have triggered flash flooding across parts of Syria, with Aleppo, Idlib and Latakia among the worst-affected areas.Floodwater inundated streets, homes, shops and roads, while vehicles were left stranded in several locations. Emergency teams reported operations at 34 locations across Aleppo and Idlib, including areas around Atmeh, Aqrabat and Kafr Lusin, where displacement camps were affected.In Latakia, emergency crews responded at 12 locations, pumping floodwater from roads and public facilities. Roads in western Idlib were also affected by flood debris and sediment.Authorities have warned of continued heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail and strong winds, with further unstable weather expected through October 5.Watch the latest footage and developments from across Syria.
