A Body, A Lie, A Truth is a mystery short drama centered on Anne Nolan, whose best friend Mary is supposedly burned to death on her engagement day. Although the evidence points toward Anne’s brother, whose intelligence is described as that of a six-year-old, Anne refuses to believe he is responsible and begins investigating the case herself.
Mary’s mother trusts Anne enough to ask her to examine the body. What Anne discovers makes the mystery even more disturbing: the victim is not Mary, but a woman who had recently given birth. As Carl’s strange behavior raises more questions, Anne decides to infiltrate Jack Cohen’s home in search of the truth.
With themes of mystery, investigation, deception, suspicious behavior, toxic love, and hidden truth, A Body, A Lie, A Truth delivers a suspenseful story built around one central question: where is Mary, and what really happened?
