Easy Luxury Bathroom Upgrades With TOTO WASHLET

Besides the kitchen, the bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the house — and certainly one guests will use when you’re entertaining. Lifestyle expert Joann Butler says adding a TOTO WASHLET bidet seat is an easy, high-impact upgrade that can transform the bathroom into a luxury, spa-like experience without the expense, disruption or mess of a full renovation.

TOTO pioneered WASHLET in 1980 and has sold more than 70 million worldwide. The experience includes a warm heated seat, gentle warm-water cleansing and warm-air drying, with options for both elongated and round toilets.

The WASHLET S2 features a sleek, tankless design with a side-arm control panel for adjusting water temperature and pressure, plus a heated soft-close seat, warm-air dryer, automatic air deodorizer, nightlight, pre-mist and EWater+. Its wand also automatically cleans itself inside and out before and after every use.

For even more personalization, Butler highlights the award-winning WASHLET S5, named Best Bidet Seat of 2026 by The New York Times Wirecutter and Best Bidet Upgrade of 2026 by Forbes Vetted. Its slim, tankless design features an instantaneous water heater that provides continuous warm water while using 38% less energy. A remote control also allows settings to be personalized for up to four users, while TOTO’s Clean Resin technology on both the wand and seat helps resist grime buildup and makes the surfaces easier to keep clean.

For those looking for the full luxury experience, the Nexus WASHLET+ S7A pairs TOTO’s top-of-the-line WASHLET+ S7A with the Nexus one-piece toilet for a clean, seamless look with the cord and water supply concealed. The lid opens automatically when you approach and closes when you leave, and when paired with a compatible TOTO toilet like the Nexus, it can also flush automatically. The Nexus toilet also features CEFIONTECT glaze to help keep the bowl cleaner, and TOTO’s Tornado Flush for a powerful, water-efficient flush.

From the simple comfort of the S2 to the personalized S5 and fully integrated Nexus WASHLET+ S7A, TOTO brings together beautiful design, thoughtful innovation and everyday luxury. Learn more at TOTOUSA.com.
