00:00I happened to get pregnant at the exact same time.
00:03What interested you about the character of Verity?
00:06I think I was very interested in the idea of truth being subjective.
00:13You know, I was raised in a time when a fact was a fact.
00:18And it seems that maybe that's changing nowadays.
00:22And with the rise of social media, I think that we're all being encouraged to form snap judgments about each
00:28other.
00:29So when I read this piece, I thought this is so interesting because on the surface, it's this, you know,
00:34pulpy, hot, like just twisty thriller.
00:3826 is a very busy year for you.
00:40You know, I made all of these films over the last three or four years.
00:45And then a few of them got delayed in their post-production.
00:47So it was just this weird, perfect storm that I had five films coming out in a six-month corridor.
00:55And I happened to get pregnant at the exact same time.
00:58First of all, not only do I have no interest in keeping up this pace, I can't exhaust you guys.
01:03I mean, it's enough already.
01:05It's time to go home.
01:06The party, it's time to leave the party, say thank you very much, take your goodie bag, and go home,
01:12get into bed.
