00:07I know why everyone's mad about Lucanen,
00:11and I don't necessarily disagree with everyone about Lucanen last night.
00:15I don't think he was very good.
00:17I don't think he gave them a good enough chance to win.
00:19But I also don't think the defense played very well in front of them.
00:24But I'm not as—I'm trying to not be as rattled about it.
00:29I think there's a lot of people that are very tense coming into this year about the Sabres
00:34because they were so, so great and so fun last year.
00:37And there's a lot of fear about, I think, losing that,
00:40losing what we got back with them and returning to what we all know so well
00:45from the past 14, 15 years with that team.
00:49And I think there's just—there's a little bit of, oh, don't do it.
00:54Like, you almost want to look away when you're watching the games.
00:56Like, don't—please just don't take this away from me.
00:59I want this to be here for me still.
01:01And last night it wasn't really there because they didn't play great.
01:05And a lot of the fears I think people had coming into the year
01:09made themselves very apparent.
01:11But what I want to do is sort of, all right, I get it.
01:14It's frustrating. Do I wish they won? Of course.
01:16Am I annoyed because Lucanen wasn't very good?
01:19Yeah.
01:19Am I worried?
01:21No.
01:22I'm not worried.
01:23I'm not scared about them.
01:25Not yet.
01:26I think Lucanen has always been that goaltender
01:29where you don't know what you're going to get.
01:31And even last year when he was so great, he had nights like that
01:34that looked like every time the team looked like they were gaining some momentum,
01:40a puck would get by him.
01:41And you weren't necessarily mad at him, but it got by him,
01:43and you want to save on one.
01:44And it's not even the individual shot.
01:46It's just it happened again.
01:47And you did the same thing.
01:48Like, I would have liked you to have it.
01:50I get that it was deflected.
01:51You're a big guy.
