00:00Until I was 13, I didn't really think about any other life than the Amish.
00:05We had new neighbors with a little girl, and she was very fascinated by our lifestyle.
00:10And she came all the time to our house.
00:12And that's when I started to really notice more about the outside world.
00:16I started noticing how she dresses.
00:19She would wear little t-shirts and shorts, sandals.
00:22She had jewelry.
00:23And when I was 16, almost 17, my cousins and I started sneaking out with the English boys.
00:30I was 17 already when I lost my virginity, but I lost my virginity to the English boys.
00:35Sometimes on Saturday nights, we would go to their house and watch country music videos.
00:40Sometimes and sometimes we had with them.
00:43That was really the turning point for me.
00:45When I realized that this feeling that I had to be adventurous and explore and go see the world was
00:53probably not going to go away.
00:55And I decided that night, I was like, probably my destiny is to run away, to leave.
