00:00Fans of Portugal's national football team are in mourning after the apparent departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
00:07The star forward walked out of the team's training camp on Wednesday,
00:12hours after coach Jorge Jesus said he wouldn't start Thursday's Nations League game against Denmark.
00:20I think it's a bit of lack of respect with a player that's put us on the map, so to
00:25speak.
00:25He's given many trophies to the national team. In my opinion, without him, we wouldn't have won half the trophies
00:33we won so far.
00:35For him to leave this way, the statements of the manager shouldn't have been made public the way they did,
00:41so I think it's a sad exit.
00:46It's also one man down, and people won't be going to the matches as much with him not on the
00:52starting XI.
00:57I think the exit of Ronaldo is very sad. He's a great player, he's helped the team a lot and
01:04has done a lot for the Portuguese.
01:06As I said, the way he left is very sad.
01:10But nothing has yet been made official.
01:14Fans are hoping he might still make peace with Jesus and return in the next international break.
01:20And I'll see you.
01:20Thanks for paying attention to your community.
01:24I'm David.
