00:00We have the best neighbours, and my mum, who lives independently, has the best neighbours.
00:08It's happened to me a couple of times. I've had four previous properties I've moved from,
00:12but I've also ended up homeless because of this. Do you know what I mean?
00:15I've had incidents with my neighbours. I've just got off to the streets and got myself back into a flat.
00:19Do you know what I'm saying? I'm 22-ish, and I've been on the streets in the first place.
00:23But it was all down to a neighbour.
00:24I'm a decent sort of a fellow anyway, so I get on well with them.
00:27If you had a bad neighbour, I could imagine it could be hell.
00:32I know people with bad neighbours, and they've tried everything to be complicit and just make everything nice,
00:42but they all want to move.
00:44Apparently I was harassing him, and all I was doing was telling him,
00:48can you pack this in? I was two in the morning, and I've got people coming in and out the
00:51flat.
00:51At the least, it's like being respectful and being quiet.
00:57Not necessarily even being quiet, but being respectful about you and your environment,
01:02and so you can live in harmony.
01:05So, for example, if we were having a big raucous party, we'd knock and knock the neighbours.
01:09When I was a young lad, we had lovely neighbours growing up,
01:12and we were all, like, a tight community, tightnesses.
01:15But it seems to be when you're in these little estates or these little flat blocks,
01:19and you've got different people always coming in and out,
01:21you just don't know who you're moving in.
01:22But to be a good neighbour means everything, it makes you feel more comfortable,
01:25makes you feel safe and sound at your home,
01:27knowing you've got somebody next door that you can trust.
01:29You've got somebody next door that you can trust.
