00:00The Danish Armed Forces have admitted to have made errors in their initial report on suspected drones of unknown origins
00:08that flew over the country just before an EU summit in Copenhagen in October 2025.
00:14In the revised report released on Thursday, the military stated that their account might have been mistaken, saying that soldiers
00:22may have fired into the air while a civilian aircraft passed by.
00:26But their assessment was still that the soldiers had fired upon what was believed to have been a drone, based,
00:33among other things, on its flight pattern.
00:36During the incident in 2025, drones had been sighted, both above civilian and military airbases, causing heightened security measures, temporary
00:47airport shutdowns, and a private drone ban.
00:50The sites affected included Skrystrop Air Base, where Ukrainian pilots had trained on F-16 fighter jets.
00:58Denmark has since worked on enhancing the country's anti-drone and drone detection capacities.
