00:00Set your in and out points.

00:03Press I on your keyboard where you want the video to start and O where you want it to

00:07If you want to export the entire timeline, you can skip this.
00:11Go in the Export workspace, go to the top menu bar and click on Export or use the shortcut
00:16Ctrl plus M Windows or KMD plus M Mac.
00:18This will shift Premiere into the dedicated Export tab.
00:21Name your file.
00:22Look at the top left of the Export panel for the Name field.
00:24Click your current project name to change it to whatever you want your final video file

00:28Choose your save location.
00:30Right underneath the Name field, click on the blue text next to Location.
00:34A Finder Explorer window will pop up.
00:36Choose where you want to save the exported video file, for example your desktop or a specific
00:40project folder, and click Save.

00:45For almost all modern web, mobile and playback uses, select H.264 which outputs in .mp4 file.
00:51Choose a preset.
00:52Right below Format, click the Preset drop down.
00:55Select match source, high bit rate for great quality and a standard file size.
00:59Alternatively, if you are uploading straight to a platform, you can pick preset options
01:04like YouTube 1080p HD or Twitter 1080p which auto-optimizes settings for those platforms.
01:09To view video settings, optional.
01:12Expand the video section to double check your resolution, for example 1920, 1080, and frame
01:17rate match your sequence settings.
01:19Hit Export.
01:20Move to the bottom right corner of the screen and click the blue Export button.
01:23Premiere will render your sequence and save the file to your chosen destination.
