Chile students, police clash at protest over feared education cuts

Students and police clash in central Santiago during a protest against potential cuts to public education, one day after President Jose Antonio Kast presented his draft budget for 2027. Police officers use tear gas and water cannons to disperse the demonstrators, some of whom responded by throwing stones and sticks.
