00:08Hi, Robinson Kelly here, CEO and founder of Benjamin Industries.
00:12Quick backstory. During the pandemic, I wanted to learn bass guitar. So, got my iPad, started to look
00:18at some YouTube videos, and I found that a really frustrating process. Controlling the video with
00:23my finger on the touchscreen, that was really challenging. I just wanted some physical buttons
00:28to control a video easily and reliably. And so, after a bit of research and a lot of learning,
00:35we developed Benjamin. Now, I can use a big knob to scroll through the video at different
00:42time intervals. I can press the loop button to instantly set a loop, nudge the in and
00:47out points, and save the loop so I can come back to it later. If the video is too fast,
00:52I can slow it down in 5% increments until I can comfortably play along.
00:58It connects through Bluetooth, so all you have to do is turn on the device, launch the app,
01:02and start practicing. Benjamin's been specifically designed to accommodate every iPad, from mini
01:10to pro, and can elegantly be used in lots of settings. Whatever instrument you play, Benjamin
01:16makes practicing easier.
01:25But our beginnings were humble. Here are some of our earliest attempts. We started with wires
01:31and buttons on a circuit board. Then, we 3D printed a case for it. Eventually, we had
01:36it professionally designed, and this is the aluminum version we have today. So, as you can
01:42see, the combination of hardware and powerful software creates a dedicated practice environment.
01:47If you're as excited about physical controls, controlling video, and easier practice as we
01:51are, back us on Kickstarter, and watch this product come to life.
01:55Friendship music, so I was going to take a moment to try to get the chip off the Wii and
01:55the
01:55Now, that's what I heard. What type of software mode is for a device.
01:55Let me talk to the desk. I can't wait to use a device. I don't know what it is, but
01:57I love
01:57field. Now, when you can see the keyboard. Let me take a moment of the field.
01:59I can recognize a thing about this, and I am wearing this. I don't know what it is.
