The Ferrari Purosangue gets put to the test in New York as the team heads to Ferrari of Long Island to check out one of the first demo cars and see whether Ferrari’s new super SUV is worth its massive price tag. From the first look, the design turns heads with carbon fiber details, suicide doors, 22-inch front wheels, 23-inch rear wheels, and a rear end that blends Ferrari styling cues in a way that feels familiar but fresh. The light clamshell hood, quad exhaust, and massive diffuser add to the drama before the real focus shifts to the naturally aspirated V12.

Under the hood sits a 6.5L V12 with 715 horsepower, a 0 to 60 time around 3.2 seconds, and a top speed of 193 mph. Inside, the Purosangue feels every bit like a modern Ferrari, with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, a passenger display, and a back seat setup that opens and closes with clever buttons and controls. The drive shows how different it feels from a Lamborghini Urus, with high-revving power, strong brakes, and a sound that keeps building as the car stretches out on the road.

There’s also a close look at the trunk, the options, and the practicality of a Ferrari SUV that costs far more than a typical performance crossover. It’s part review, part first drive, and part luxury car walkaround, with a few close calls and plenty of real reactions along the way.

Ferrari Purosangue review, Ferrari SUV first drive, super SUV walkaround, naturally aspirated V12 test drive, luxury performance car review, and exotic car spotting all come together here. Great for fans searching for Ferrari Purosangue interior, exhaust sound, 715 horsepower SUV, and comparisons with the Lamborghini Urus.

00:00Folks, we're back. Good morning. We're headed over to Ferrari of Long Island to check out the all-new Piro
00:05Sangue.
00:06They just got one on demo. We're excited to take a look. It is twice the price of a Lamborghini
00:10years, so we're going to see if it's worth it, and we're taking it along with us. It's a good
00:14day to have a good day.
00:29Oh, it sounds good. It sounds good. All right, I think it's growing on me a little bit. That is
00:34so sick.
00:35First impressions of the car, it looks absolutely fantastic. The front almost resembles an 812
00:40superfast a little bit. These might look like headlights, but they're actually air vents.
00:44As we move towards the back, you have carbon fiber everywhere. Up front, you have 22-inch wheels.
00:49Of course, one of the best features on the new Piro Sangue, the suicide doors. As we move towards
00:55the back, you have 23-inch wheels, which actually look perfect on this car. Jack, if you could get
01:00a shot of the back, because I think the tail lights resemble a 296 a little bit. You have an
01:04812 superfast
01:05up front, 296 in the back. The carbon fiber is going to continue again with this massive diffuser.
01:11That's $11,000. And you have a quad-tip exhaust. And on that note, let's have a listen.
01:21I just found out after popping the hood that it does have a clamshell hood,
01:24and it is so light. Oh my god, look at this. Look at this. That might be the lightest that
01:30I've ever
01:31seen. It feels like it's going to fly away on me. But anyway, down to the business here, folks.
01:35You have a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12. While everybody's going electric, Ferrari decided
01:41to make a V12 SUV that gets 11 miles to the gallon, but it makes 715 horsepower, has a 0
01:48-60
01:48time of roughly 3.2 seconds, and a top speed of 193 miles an hour. Now we're going to hop
01:54into the car
01:54and check out a little bit of the interior. When you jump into the interior, one of the first things
01:57you're going to note is that there's no traditional infotainment system. Your passenger actually has
02:02the biggest display screen in the entire car. Over to the center console, you have the basics.
02:06You have two cupholders, your hazard button, this tiny little shifter that's on all the new Ferraris.
02:11And I don't know exactly how it works, but we're going to figure it out when we drive the car.
02:15You also have these awesome leather and Alcantara seats that are heated, ventilated, and massaging.
02:19It's not a bad place to spend time in your Ferrari SUV. Now to the back seats. To get in,
02:23there's no door handle. You just pull on this little tab here. It's going to automatically
02:27open for you. And it is a suicide door. And then when we jump in the back,
02:31to close it, you just hit this button on one of your pillars.
02:42Okay, immediately, I like gadgets and gizmos, so this is the coolest part about the back seat.
02:46This little control panel here, you push this button and it pops up. Oh, okay. It controls the
02:51heat and ventilation in your seats, but it is so cool. Oh yeah. Okay. So it controls your heated and
02:56ventilated seats and your climate control. And it is the coolest little thing I've ever seen.
03:00You'll also notice when you look up, you have a $20,000 sunroof. The price of a Honda Civic when
03:06you look up at your piece of glass. But on that note, let's talk comfortability in the back seats.
03:11I am seven foot three. I do have an ample amount of room. The most room you'll have in this
03:16car is
03:16the headroom. And I think the sunroof helps with that a little bit. This seat is all the way back.
03:20And I still have some room here. The car tapers off in the back a little bit, almost like a
03:25sport
03:26back kind of feel. So you don't have the most leg room, but it feels comfortable. It feels good.
03:31And now when you get out of your back seats, you can automatically close them as well by just
03:35pushing up. Oh, and now when you get out of your back seats to close them, you just give it
03:39a little
03:39push. Oh, oh, got it, got it, got it. After five failed attempts, I now figured out how to close
03:44the
03:44back door. You just push forward on this little button and again, it closes automatically. Take
03:50five. Let's talk about the trunk. If we had golf clubs, we'd give it the golf club test, but you
03:55have a little privacy cover here. You have your metal specification list, which is on all Ferraris
03:59because this car has $51,000 of additional options that aren't listed on the window sticker,
04:04but they'll be listed here. If you're doing large Costco runs, I don't know if it's the most
04:08practical SUV for you, but if you're just going for a round of golf or you have some light luggage
04:12to put
04:13in here, it'll definitely work. Alrighty. First drive in the 715 horsepower, six and a half liter V12
04:20Ferrari Pirosangue.
04:25Oh, it's all, oh my God, there's the bike. We roll down the window because we're going to go through
04:29a tunnel. We tried to open the $20,000 sunroof, but it doesn't open. And here we are approaching
04:34the tunnel. We're going to give them a little bit of a lead here.
04:40Okay. Don't crash the Pirosangue, Chris. Don't crash it. Of course, when we're driving a $562,000
04:46Ferrari, a Honda Accord has to come in and cut us off.
04:55It's, it's all top end. It's all, that's my thesis here. It's all top end power compared to
05:01like when you drive a Lamborghini Urus, it's really torquey because it's a twin turbo V8 and it's not as
05:05heavy. This is like, you got to rev it out and get a good strip of road, but it sounds
05:10so sick.
05:11I'm excited to see people put exhausts on these.
05:20It gets up to speed so quick, obviously. And it like revs out like crazy. I just don't feel that
05:25like pushback. Is there like a sport mode? It's in sport mode. It feels like in comparison to a
05:31Lamborghini Urus because I guess that's the best thing to compare it to. It feels a little bit
05:35bigger. Um, probably just because of the six and a half liter V12. And, um, I guess it's just a
05:40bigger
05:41car overall up front. It feels really small. Like it's definitely doesn't have the long hood,
05:45like the eight 12 super fast and you can see everything perfectly. But I think there's maybe
05:49like a lot of weight in the back with the, like the seats, I guess. I don't know.
05:54All right. One last one. This is like the best test driver out.
06:03Yeah. It just wants like the, oh, the brakes are phenomenal. The brakes are phenomenal. And it just
06:07wants to keep going. I mean, it does have a top speed of 193 miles an hour. So it definitely
06:12gets
06:12up and wants to go. It's a car you'll get in trouble in because you don't know how fast you're
06:16going.
06:16And then you look down and it's more than three digits. Folks, the passenger seat might be the
06:21best place to spend time. You have this massive screen here that shows the miles per hour, the RPM,
06:27even the G force, and you can control music, seat settings, the whole nine. And the driver
06:33doesn't even have a regular infotainment system in the middle there. So I guess the passenger is
06:37the, uh, the best in the car. Does this pop up? Oh, that pops up. Yeah. You control like climate
06:45and the seats. This is where the massage is. Yeah. It's the bottom one. Ooh, look at this. Hold on.
06:51A bunch of different ones. You can change what seat it's on. Wow. Shift lights. There we go.
07:01That's really cool. And that's like a thing that really only Ferrari does. Does anybody else do the
07:05shift lights? Let's talk about how Jack is, it's his first appearance on camera in a proper YouTube
07:10video. And the first three words that come out of his mouth or give it the beans, but that's four
07:16words, but that's not a bad first appearance on the Christian cars YouTube channel. Anyway,
07:21we're back at the dealership. Oh, a digital animation of the Puro Sangue. I didn't do that
07:26today. That's how I call it. I don't call it the Puro Sangue. I was just doing that to have
07:31like some
07:31sort of etiquette, but the Christian cars dictionary term of it is, Ooh, Ooh, Ferrari Puro Sangue.
07:38Huge shout out to Ferrari of Long Island for not only letting us review the Puro Sangue,
07:42but letting us drive it to summarize. It's definitely a high revving, naturally aspirated V12.
07:47And that's exactly how it drives. I thought it would drive kind of similar to the Lamborghini
07:51yours, but it is a completely different platform, not for better or worse. I mean,
07:55it has almost a hundred more horsepower than the Lamborghini years. It just doesn't have those two
07:59turbos, but it also has four more cylinders, eight, wait, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12.
08:04Yes. It has four more cylinders. It's a completely different driving experience.
08:07If you have the opportunity to drive one, definitely contact your local Ferrari dealership
08:12and we'll see you next time. Ferrari is making an SUV. We ain't got a front. We ordering these.
08:19Ferrari is making an SUV. We all have the opportunity to condense.
08:23We're having an SUV. Mon Pole is making a 60-15 Virgin Pound.
