00:00Covent Academy is in some ways a love letter to the genre shows I grew up on
00:05Welcome to Covent Academy
00:07You're a witch
00:09Ryar doesn't know she's a witch so she comes to the school
00:12and she's super guarded at first
00:14Beat them alone
00:17She learns that the world is about to be a lot scarier and darker
00:21than she ever could have imagined in her hometown of New York City
00:28Everyone's kind of on high alert today
00:31Vampires have been active lately
00:35You think you're ready to take on vampires?
00:37I thought the vampire part was a rumor
00:40Everybody at Covent Academy comes from somewhere different
00:42They all have this ability that not everybody else has
00:47Are you guys good at solving murders?
00:50Being a witch is about sisterhood
00:52About trust
00:53Sasha's just kind of one of those girls where you never know what's going on in her
00:57mind
00:58But she definitely knows what's going on in yours
01:02Pick up for Briar
01:03You're hiding something from us
01:05No I'm not
01:06I told you I won't drink human blood
01:09Who said I was human?
01:11Yo!
01:13You with the dark magic and me with the vampire stuff
01:16Like we're both thrust into these really scary new worlds
01:20I would never hurt Briar
01:22Stay away from her
01:23This faculty would gladly suit up and run the battle for you
01:27Dev and I come from that genre
01:29I mean we're total 90s kids
01:31So it's neat to be on a show that's kind of giving a little bit of a love
01:34letter to those shows
01:35What are you guys doing?
01:37Jake!
01:38It's bingeable
01:39It's exciting
01:41It's mysterious
01:43Like what?
01:45I've always wanted to live in a world like that
01:47There's a lot of like those cliffhanger moments
01:50Oh my god that just happened
01:52It's exciting to bring a show to this generation that like we all grew up watching and are so
01:58obsessed with
01:58Yeah
01:58If you'll excuse me I have a date with the devil
02:02Luca
02:03Um
02:04Cristo
02:04No
02:04Oh
02:04Oh
02:05You
02:06There
02:07bilmiyorum
02:08We
