Some places change the sound of even the smallest things.
Standing near the top of a mine shaft, Josh lights several firecrackers and tosses them into the opening. As they drop out of sight, the crackling pops echo up from below, sounding different than they would on open ground.
The clip highlights how the shaft’s depth and shape reshape a familiar noise into something harder to place.
