00:03And now the second round tournament matchup for DDT4 to crown the PWG World Tag Team Champions.
00:11The Muscle Outlaws, Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino taking out Locke and Roderick Strong.
00:16The winner of this match will go on later tonight to face the Brisco Brothers
00:20who we saw earlier defeat the Havana Pit Bulls in their first or second round matchup.
00:27Either way, either team that gets through this match will definitely have a very monumental task ahead of them
00:36as they go on to face the Brisco Brothers in the final round match.
00:39Unbelievable, but no one said the road to the PWG Tag Team title would be easy,
00:47but this is going to be an outstanding contest.
00:50Roderick Strong and I are participating in Dragon Gate.
00:54In numerous occasions.
00:55Yeah, and at Pac as of recently, but this was before that tour for Pac.
01:02So this is going to be outstanding.
01:05A technical affair I anticipate as Roderick Strong taking over Yoshino right there,
01:11but Yoshino getting out of it into the arm bar.
01:13Sure, and you talked about the Roderick Strong experience in Dragon Gate,
01:17with not only Yoshino but also Doi.
01:20I think that makes Pac a bit of a wild card in this match.
01:23He was added into the tournament at a very late stage.
01:27You know, Jack Evans dropped out.
01:29And so, I don't know that Doi and Yoshino have had time really to research Pac,
01:35you know, to maybe watch as many tapes as he'd like.
01:39I mean, you know, he's had a few appearances here at PWG.
01:42But other than that, I'm not sure, you know, if the Muscle Outlaws were able to get tapes from,
01:48you know, from England or, you know, Europe where Pac is primarily wrestled.
01:53And, you know, so I mean, that could be the one advantage that Pac and Roderick Strong have going into
02:01this match
02:02when facing off a team so well first and a team that have been teaming together in years, right,
02:10instead of teaming together first.
02:13Right, right, absolutely.
02:15And, you know, it's been a success so far for Pac and Roderick Strong being the former champions.
02:22Last night, Super Dragon and Dave Richard, of course.
02:25And, you know, I mean, I found out last night, actually,
02:29after they had defeated Dave Richard and Super Dragon,
02:34that Pac and Roderick Strong actually flew in a few days early to Florida
02:43to talk strategy with Roderick Strong.
02:46And so, you know, for last night, we thought that this was just all on the spot, on the fly.
02:50But, you know, Pac and Roderick have actually been working out some teamwork.
02:56You know, last night was the first time that they'd actually been ready to go.
02:59Right.
02:59But, you know, they had time to talk them through the plan to come up with some strategies, you know,
03:05for, you know, obviously, you know, the first round match last night against Dragon,
03:09which they were able to watch some tapes come up with strategies that way.
03:12But also, you know, they watched tapes of every team in the tournament on the eventualities that they might end
03:22up facing them
03:23if they advance past the second round.
03:25And that's, you know, that's exactly what happened.
03:27They are facing off with the Muscle Outlaws here in the second round.
03:31And, you know, they have their own research where the Muscle Outlaws probably didn't have a chance to research Pac
03:38before this match began.
03:39That's right.
03:40And Pac very impressed to shine right here.
03:42Like it's Doi.
03:44Oh, my goodness.
03:46Just the athletic ability.
03:48Just oozing from Pac right here.
03:50Oh, arm dragged right there by Doi.
03:52Arm dragged by Pac.
03:53And now Pac has got the advantage.
03:56Doi may have landed a little awkwardly on that because he's very slow to get up.
03:59Oh, no.
03:59Just playing possum on Pac.
04:01I'm not even sure they have possums in England.
04:03But it didn't even matter for Doi as he just hip-talks Pac over once, twice,
04:09and now calling him in for a third time.
04:12But Pac reverses, catches him in the pinning predicament.
04:15Standing with Cancun Tornado.
04:17One, two, two count only.
04:19Pac very nearly ended this match and advanced his team to the finals at a very early stage.
04:25I think I would have to let them slide on my minute and a half rule if they did.
04:30I believe that Roderick Strong would have given him a hat on the back.
04:34And he advanced him.
04:36He said, hey, thanks, buddy.
04:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:38Nice strategy.
04:40Now Roderick Strong, he's controlled and there's Doi.
04:42He drags Doi over to the corner of the front chance for a very quick tag out.
04:46And this is not what we expected at all coming into this weekend.
04:51We'd see from Pac and Roderick Strong.
04:53Absolutely.
04:54And now Pac putting a kick arsenal right there on Doi.
05:00And now the lateral cover right there.
05:04And I have to say I'm not a big fan of that kind of cover.
05:07I think if you're going to go for the pin, you should definitely always put the leg.
05:11And trading chops right now with Doi right there.
05:14Pulling him.
05:14Man, this is very smart right here.
05:16This is...
05:18This is...
05:18These are the hallmarks of teams that have been attacking you guys for years.
05:21And Pac and Roderick Strong, they just have that type of chemistry where they came up with that almost overnight.
05:26That's...
05:27That's extremely impressive.
05:29And that makes them a force to be reckoned with.
05:31And...
05:31Yashino...
05:32Yashino definitely agrees.
05:33As he came in very quickly to break up that pin prediction.
05:37And I believe Yashino stepped on one of the cameramen there at ringside.
05:40But now Pac tagged back into the match.
05:43And Roderick Strong and Pac, I think, you know, in a two-minute period there were probably four or five
05:48tags between the two of them.
05:50Now Pac gaining momentum.
05:51He's got a full head of steam.
05:52And runs in with that hard elbow shot.
05:55And Roderick Strong now thrown into the corner.
05:58Hard, hard enough shot of it.
05:59And the leg lariat takes down Doi.
06:03And Pac is just in charge of Noruki Doi and the muscle outlaws.
06:06But Yashino makes it into the ring to break up the pin predicament.
06:09You're not supposed to step on the pin.
06:12Um...
06:12Not if...
06:13Not if you can approve.
06:14I recall Dennis Rodman got in some trouble.
06:20Well, they are like ring steps.
06:23But we actually do have steps.
06:27If you go...
06:28If instead of walking up to the close side, if you walk up to the far side of the ring,
06:32your steps come...
06:33I'm kidding.
06:34Yeah.
06:34That's right.
06:35A drop zone by Pac just levels Yoshino.
06:39And now Pac and Yoshino tagging in from Doi.
06:43But it's just more of the same for the muscle outlaws.
06:46And Pac and Roderick Strong exhibiting some really quick tags and some really great teamwork here.
06:51I would say so.
06:53Now vertical suplex just holding him up.
06:56He's got Yoshino up.
06:58All the blood draining from not only the feet but all the other parts of his body all the
07:03way down to the head of Yoshino.
07:05And...
07:06Oh, what is this?
07:07Roderick Strong!
07:09Roderick Strong!
07:10What an impressive display of strength as he took him down from a vertical suplex into
07:16a gorilla press and just tossed him up in the air.
07:20Pushing him back to the corner.
07:21I can't...
07:22I don't know how he had the strength to do that after being manhandled by Roderick Strong.
07:27Oh, but Doi now taking it to Roderick Strong.
07:29You don't want to trade chops with Roderick Strong, that's for sure.
07:32Now the muscle outlaws, they're going to employ a double team right here.
07:35Double back elbow taking Roderick Strong down.
07:39And this is where the season teams really shine and really show what they know.
07:45And this is a double team and now this is the submission we saw yesterday.
07:51I saw last night, Doi just cranking back on that knee as Roderick Strong's neck is just
07:56being compressed as he is being brought closer and closer to his feet.
08:01This is a brutal, brutal maneuver.
08:03And you know, this is, you know, another thing about teams that tag together often is
08:07you know how much punishment your partner can take.
08:19And Roderick Strong's guts were busted there.
08:23Double dropped it to the both sides of his head and scenario.
08:27And you know, so right now maybe, uh, maybe had they been teaming together longer, Pac would've
08:33came in and broke that up.
08:34Or you know, maybe you wouldn't know that Roderick Strong would've been okay.
08:38But I guess, you know, Pac just kind of assumed on the outside that Roderick Strong would
08:42be able to kick out from there rather than coming in to break things up.
08:45Right, right.
08:46And, uh, wow, this is very, very inventive right here by Yoshino.
08:51Uh, trying to take out the arms of Roderick Strong.
08:53Oh, rolls him through.
08:54He's got on tight.
08:56Oh, nice.
08:56Mexican stretch.
08:57Three and one, whatever you want to call it.
09:00Roderick Strong is definitely in harm's way as his head is just being separated further
09:05and further from his body.
09:06And Doi just, just saunters into the ring to keep Pac out.
09:10And, uh, Danny Ramirez making sure that, uh, you know, making sure that, uh, Yoshino's
09:17shoulders are off the mat.
09:18And finally when Pac did try to enter the ring, Doi was right there.
09:23To take him out.
09:24And to keep him out of the ring to prevent him from breaking up the submission hold.
09:27But Roderick Strong still managed to get his way over to the bottom of him.
09:30And Yoshino, uh, continues the attack on Roderick Strong.
09:33Roderick trying to fight back.
09:35And, uh, these men have cut the ring in half, uh, taking over on Roderick Strong.
09:40And, uh, they, they better keep the attack going because you don't want, uh, Roderick Strong
09:44to get any, uh, any chance to come back because, uh, you will pay for it.
09:49And here is Doi, uh, putting, uh, Roderick Strong in the tree.
09:52And now Pac coming in to break things up.
09:55And he and Doi are just trading chops.
09:57And now Pac charging in.
10:00Oh, he got, his legs were swept out from under him and he just drop kicked his own partner
10:05in the chest.
10:06A little friendly fire there.
10:08And now here comes Doi.
10:09The big ball center.
10:11Oh.
10:11Just demolishing them.
10:14Oh, my goodness.
10:15Doi may have rattled himself a little bit.
10:17He came in hard and he came in fast.
10:20And he just destroyed the team of Roderick Strong and Pac.
10:24Oh.
10:25Unbelievable.
10:26Now going for the cover.
10:28One, two.
10:29Two count only.
10:30Uh, that could have been it right there.
10:32Taking out both men.
10:33Uh, nobody there to make the save.
10:35Both men taking out on that maneuver.
10:37Oh, but now Roderick Strong fighting back for Yoshino.
10:40Cuts him right off.
10:41I think Yoshino just, just gave him a, a, a, a punch right in the shoulder.
10:46He did it again.
10:46Just going for those, those hard punches.
10:49And, uh, just really going to work on that, that right arm of Roderick Strong.
10:53To, oh, oh, my God.
10:55Roderick Strong, despite those shots to the arm, he just, just muscled Yoshino up and brought
11:02him down to that hard power slam.
11:04Muscle Outlaw is getting muscled by Roderick Strong.
11:07And now they're tagged out by Yoshino to Doi.
11:10And Roderick Strong taking Pac and tagging him in.
11:13And he makes a dramatic entrance.
11:15Pac coming in over the top rope.
11:17Knocking down both the muscle outlaw.
11:19Big back elbows to both members.
11:21And Pac is, uh, is a, is a man on fire here.
11:24He's like the white version of Denzel Washington.
11:27As he goes up and over.
11:29Oh, gets, gets strung up.
11:30Didn't go up and over.
11:31Instead, one for the Space Flying Tiger dropping out.
11:34Dead!
11:35Comes over the top with a corkscrew tornado.
11:38Whatever you want to call it.
11:40He hit Doi.
11:41Doi, I think, was, I thought he had, uh, he had escaped from the, uh,
11:44Space Flying Tiger drop.
11:46He was breathing a sigh of relief.
11:48When Pac just came over the top and crashing into Doi.
11:51That's how fast that Pac is.
11:53He, uh, he actually thought, Doi actually thought he had, uh, had a reprieve.
11:57But actually, Pac was coming over the top rope.
11:59He thought that.
12:00In the blink of an eye, Pac recovered and turned things around on Doi.
12:04Now springs through.
12:05Ah!
12:05Catches him.
12:06Into an arcana.
12:08But Doi puts on the brakes.
12:10And a throw!
12:10To the chest of Pac.
12:12Doi covers.
12:13Hooks the leg.
12:14Two.
12:14Two count only.
12:16Unbelievable.
12:18And, uh,
12:18Yashino tags back in.
12:20To the tight end, just as you think that one team has, uh, the clear advantage.
12:24Uh, the other team will turn it around.
12:26Now Yashino.
12:27Whipping in Pac.
12:28Pac reverses.
12:29Yashino into the corner.
12:31Pac running in.
12:32But Yashino up and over.
12:34Kick to the face.
12:35Pac now flipping out.
12:37Oh my goodness.
12:38This is actually too fast a call.
12:40And Fury just rattles Yashino.
12:42And now Pac's got him in.
12:43Northern Lights.
12:44Suplex.
12:45One.
12:45Two.
12:46Two count only.
12:47Wow.
12:48And an interesting fact is when you see, did you know that New Catholic in Northern England
12:52is one of, uh, one of the only places in England, not Scotland, that you can see.
12:58Really?
12:59Yeah.
12:59They've been very apricot right there.
13:01They've been the mainline Suplex.
13:03No one else should do that.
13:04That's right.
13:05And, uh, back Elwood right there by Pac.
13:08Off the ropes.
13:08Uh, goes for a sweep of Yashino.
13:11Twisting her up.
13:12Oh, he's got him, man.
13:13Like the, like the great jungle monkey that he is.
13:17Wow.
13:17Yashino just rolls him up, that Italian monkey.
13:20Go eat some meatballs with some, some, uh, some palm fronds.
13:25That's a spicy meatball.
13:26Indeed it is.
13:28And, uh, you know, the other thing to think about, Disco, is that has Pac ever faced anybody
13:32as fast and as agile as he is?
13:35I mean, Yashino is definitely, uh, the match for anybody, perhaps the fastest man in wrestling.
13:40And that's something that Pac may not be prepared for, but right now, he has to be prepared
13:44for this slugfest with Doi as he catches him with the end suit.
13:48Guri with that kick to the back of the head.
13:50And now, front chancery suplex.
13:53Shades of Tiger Mask.
13:54The original Tiger Mask to Toro Sayama.
13:56And now Pac signaling to the crowd that he's going to go up top.
14:00And there he is.
14:02Oh!
14:02Oh!
14:034.50 splash, but nothing but knees.
14:07And the Doi Fives kicks him down.
14:09Covers looks like two.
14:11Two count only.
14:12Pac kicked out very nearly almost after the three count.
14:18And Roderick Strong was a bit late to make the break, so that was all on Pac.
14:22Had these two have been teaming together, you know, longer, I think Roderick Strong may have
14:27made that break a little sooner than he did.
14:29I have to agree.
14:30And Doi now hits in off the ropes, but Pac.
14:34Oh!
14:35Just drove Doi into the mat.
14:38Two count only, but Doi kicks out.
14:41Unbelievable.
14:42Almost spiked his head into the ground.
14:44And now it attacks into Roderick Strong.
14:47It went from bad to worse here.
14:50And oh, but Doi shakes himself off, shrugs off.
14:53Goes for the O'Connor roll, but just a bridge.
14:55Almost like a rolling German.
14:57Not that kind of rolling German, but now Roderick Strong's got him up.
15:01And oh!
15:03God!
15:05Just threw Doi into that connector between the turnbuckle and the post.
15:11Oh, my God.
15:13Oh, my God.
15:13Going for the superflex right here.
15:15Got Doi up to the top rope.
15:17Up and down.
15:19Down he goes.
15:19Disco, you know, every time I see somebody go to the rope from now on, I think it could be
15:24a turnbuckle brain buster.
15:26I know it's almost certainly not, but still Kevin Steen really, really put that idea in
15:31my head.
15:32Absolutely.
15:32Heartbeats away.
15:34Oh!
15:34And a 450 splash after Roderick Strong was hooking the legs.
15:38Two.
15:39Oh!
15:39Almost a three count.
15:41Yoshino still licking his wounds on the outside.
15:44Didn't make it there in time to break it up.
15:46And Roderick Strong gone for the backbreaker.
15:49But Doi beats him down.
15:51Now Doi coming off the ropes catches the high kick to the back of the head.
15:54And a friendly fire between Roderick Strong and Pac.
15:58The flying cross chops from Doi.
15:59Now Doi tags in Yoshino.
16:01Yoshino goes up to the top.
16:04Shotgun!
16:05Takes him down.
16:07One.
16:08Two.
16:09Two.
16:10Two count only.
16:10Yoshino says that that, oh, he's going to put him away right here.
16:14Throws him in.
16:15Whips him off.
16:16Go for the Vikings final.
16:18Yes!
16:19Nails it!
16:19And now calling for, calling for Doi to go up.
16:23And there, he's going to, Roderick Strong is fighting.
16:26But Yoshino gets him stretched out.
16:28Onto the middle rope.
16:29Whoa!
16:30He drops at the big boss set gun.
16:33One.
16:33Two.
16:34Two count only as Roderick Strong kicks out.
16:38Now Yoshino calls for it.
16:39Slashes the throat.
16:40This is it.
16:41Could be the Torbellino.
16:43Comes through.
16:44Goes around.
16:45Brings him down.
16:46And now he's calling for it to Sol Masicente.
16:49The move that he's finished it off.
16:51One.
16:52Two.
16:52Two count only as Roderick Strong very nearly rolled up Doi and won this match for his team.
16:58Big close line to the corner.
17:01Second close line.
17:02Roderick Strong pulls him out.
17:04Whoa!
17:05Look there.
17:05Urenage on the knee.
17:07Pock.
17:08Whoa!
17:09Knee drop to the back of the head.
17:11Roderick Strong covers.
17:12One.
17:13Two.
17:14But Doi in the very nick of time comes in to break up the pinning predicament.
17:19And now Pock with Doi on the outside.
17:22Pock goes up and over to the top.
17:25Throwing his body with reckless abandon.
17:27And now Roderick Strong.
17:29Oh!
17:30Busts the guts of Yoshino.
17:32Thumbs off.
17:34Just rocks Yoshino.
17:35And now he's got him up.
17:37Tired driver.
17:39One.
17:39Two.
17:41Three.
17:41That is it.
17:43Pock and Roderick Strong, the Dark Horse team in the DDT4 tournament, advance to face
17:48the Briscoe Brothers in the final round for the PWG World Tag Team titles.
17:56Aplausos.
17:57Aplausos.
17:57Aplausos.
17:58Aplausos.
17:58Aplausos.
