Kyle is the son of a wealthy family. His biological mother died early. At home, he's constantly excluded and framed by his stepmother Alicia and his half-brother Ryan. His father Robert banishes him to live in a backyard tool shed. At school, his family background makes him a target as well. He's mocked as "Trash Boy" and subjected to relentless bullying. One day, an alien spacecraft crashes into the backyard. Inside the shed, Kyle discovers an injured alien observer named Zorp.
