00:06So, how often are you baffled by a holding call?
00:10I mean, some of the times you're probably like, yeah, whether it's on you or a teammate.
00:15I saw that. Yeah, that's a good call.
00:18But, I mean, it seems like such guesswork out here.
00:22I think, truly, my thought on holding calls,
00:26if you're holding somebody where it's like obliviously,
00:32like you are holding, holding, holding, right, then throw it, then throw it.
00:40But if you are doing things where it's a physical game
00:45and sometimes like your hand gets caught or you're being physical
00:49and a defense alignment is flopping and making it look like,
00:54and that you're doing, like there's, like it's such a horrible area to call.
00:59Like yesterday, like they called me for a holding call, right?
01:02I am so fed up with holding calls that it's ridiculous
01:06because I have taught myself and people have learned an entirely different skill
01:13on how to play offensive linemen with a move that I do,
01:17which is that chop down move, right?
01:18So, the referees don't know whether to call it or not call it, right?
01:23Like they can see a guy fling down fast and their first thought is,
01:27oh, it's a holding call.
01:29But realistically, no, it's just a great technique, right?
01:32Like in correlation to make you guys understand,
01:35if you're a boxer and let's say Mike Tyson hits you with an uppercut extremely fast
01:42and your head shoots up in the air, right?
01:45And it shoots up in the air.
01:47And if every referee in the ring called a head-butting call instead of a fast uppercut
01:53because Mike Tyson mastered an uppercut, that's the world that we live in
01:57and I'm living in where I'm just like, I don't really care.
02:01Like I'm going to play the physical game that we play.
02:04People are going to do what works.
02:06And as a lineman, you know, and other players, like these holding calls,
02:12and it sucks.
02:13And I hate to be against the refs, but the refs have a tough job too.
02:19But for us as players, man, like, yeah, it's a lot.
02:24And it's annoying.
02:25It is very, very annoying because they only have two sets of eyes
02:29and they throw it on the field.
02:31But I just wish that if they did throw it, that it can be reversed, right?
02:35Like I wish that every flag that was thrown goes to New York City
02:39and they analyze it and then they give it a thumb up or a thumb down.
