THE HOLY MOUNTAIN | A Short Cinematic Film from Kashmir

In 2018, I travelled into the Pir Panjal mountain range of Kashmir on a three-day trek — carrying a camera, chasing landscapes, and searching for something beyond the ordinary.

The Holy Mountain is a short cinematic film born from that journey.

What began as a trek through the mountains became a visual journey through nature, spirituality, faith, friendship and the human connection with the Himalayas. From breathtaking mountain landscapes to quiet moments along the trail, this film captures a small chapter of a much larger journey.

Shot and edited in 2018, this film remains a special part of my filmmaking journey — one that continues to this day.

For me, filmmaking has always been about more than simply capturing beautiful images. It is about documenting places, people, emotions and the stories we discover along the way.

This is The Holy Mountain.

And the journey continues.
