00:00For the tournament, it's time-credited.
00:03Mancha vs. Nita-Saya
00:24Mancha-Avostar Nita-Saya
00:32Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida! Sayahida has never before
00:46the quarterfinal match of the five-star grand prix tournament. But for the first time ever,
00:52Sayahida will face the challenge of the quarterfinal stage and a woman not to be blinded by
00:58by the bright lights of a fight against a former five-star Grand Prix winner in MICA.
01:32And now we're going to go to the top of the top of the top of the top.
02:04Sia Ida has been on a hell of a roll over the course of his 5-star Grand Prix, but
02:09there
02:09is not a single woman in the world who has been able to stand up to the test of Mika
02:14in
02:15the last two 5-star Grand Prix tournaments she's spotted, not since Natsuko Tora earlier
02:21on in Corkman Hall competition.
02:34A woman who went undefeated in the 2024 5-star Grand Prix tournament to win the tournament
02:41that year, who missed the 2025 tournament due to injury, has returned now with a 5-1-1 record,
02:49only one loss in her last two years of competing in 5-star Grand Prix competition, absolutely
02:56unprecedented, and a woman like Mika is the only type of woman who could set that sort
03:01of record.
03:03A lot of people, though, wrestling fans would say that a woman like Sia Ida is the only one
03:07woman who could stand the test of that record, everyone except on the side of Natsuko Tora.
03:19And you've got to love that, two fighters, the war of warriors here tonight between Sia Ida
03:27and Mika as we are into the bell, one fall, no time limit here tonight, as the winner of
03:37tonight's main event, Konami and Rina, as Ida and Mika off the ropes, Mika with a big shoulder
03:45tackle.
03:46And the thing to keep in mind throughout this matchup fans, Sia Ida had a hell of a war,
03:51an unexpected, some might say, victory over Ozmi earlier on in the playoff matchup that
03:55we saw.
03:56And Sia Ida is still through the wounds of that fight.
03:59A lot of athletes, the adrenaline wears off, it is a very difficult thing after you wrestle
04:04one matchup and a two-match night for yourself to get that adrenaline back a-rolling.
04:09And I really do have to wonder if Sia Ida has what it takes to do just that.
04:14We certainly know that Ida has what it takes to defeat Mika in in-ring competition, but she
04:20has never been able to do so in her professional wrestling career.
04:242-0 record between Mika and Sia Ida in singles competition takes us all the way back to the
04:29year of 2020.
04:30And while we were deep in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, women like Mika and Sia Ida
04:35were tearing it up right here in Corbin Hall, the five-star Grand Prix that year.
04:39August 9th, saw night two, Mika put four more points up on the board.
04:43And what was one of Mika's first ever five-star Grand Prix matches.
04:46And of course, November 15th, just three months down the line, Stardom, Sendai Cinderella.
04:51Mika was reigning as future of Stardom champion back then, believe it or not.
04:55And back in Sendai Sunplaza Hall, Sia Ida would fall in an eight-minute, nine-second matchup.
05:00And I fully expect this fight to go beyond that eight-minute, nine-second point with the
05:07way these women have leveled up tremendously over the past half decade.
05:17A matchup of the golden generation here tonight for Mika and Sia Ida.
05:23And a matchup that is certainly one to keep your eyes on here.
05:28Mika has only suffered one loss in her last two five-star tournaments.
05:32It's that when the Natsuko nightmare, as the people have known it, struck right here in Cork and Hall.
05:37And it really seems like Natsuko Toda has been the only one who's had the number of Mika time and
05:42time again.
05:43Sia Ida, the exact opposite end of the equation.
05:47And while Mika certainly knows how to control the Cork and Hall audience,
05:51I really believe Sia Ida's groundswell is enough to propel anyone up to superstardom.
05:56Sia Ida could be the benefactor of that here tonight.
06:01It is all about the performance put up inside this ring.
06:04Mika taking full control on that left arm.
06:07A student of a phenomenal technician by the name of Takamishinoku,
06:11right out of the James Young School.
06:12Housing women like Tomoka Idaba and Asisai Idaba in the modern day.
06:16It is Mika who has really proven herself as a former World of Startup champion.
06:21Former five-star Grand Prix finalist in 2023.
06:24The winner of that tournament in 2024.
06:31And I find it very incredible to say that this is the biggest singles test of Sia Ida's career
06:37outside of the Wonder of Startup Championship challenge that she had at Ryogoku Sumo Hall not too long ago.
06:45And Ida has just leveled up time and time again every time we see this woman.
06:50Either one of them really step inside this ring.
06:53These are women who champion the sport of professional wrestling forward.
06:56But only one of them can be a five-star Grand Prix champion.
07:00And it's got to come here tonight, one or the other.
07:03Mika and Ida going strike for strike in the center of this ring.
07:07Can you believe that neither woman has gone down yet?
07:25Mika knows it is going to take a brick house to drive through and destroy Sia Ida here.
07:32That is not an easy concept whatsoever.
07:34Not many have been able to do it over the course
07:36of Sia Ida's Time Star Tournament.
07:39Only two losses Ida took.
07:41One draw, and a draw is not going to help you here.
07:46There's a straight path down, and Sia Ida,
07:49the trajectory onward, not a good look for Ida tonight.
07:59I said it earlier on, I'll say it again,
08:02Micah knows how to control a Corcoran Hall audience,
08:04but this is a match-up that has the world
08:08talking about Sia Ida all over.
08:12Meanwhile, Micah asked if this Corcoran Hall audience
08:14wants it one more time, and sounds like they do,
08:16and Micah Ida, Micah rather, is ready to oblige.
08:23No, no, no, no.
08:24Sia Ida has got to try and weigh herself down.
08:27Anchor to that top rope.
08:29Anything other is going to be disaster,
08:31the way that we just saw moments ago.
08:33But Sia...
08:34Oh, Sia going big here tonight!
08:37Trying to rip Micah's punch away from that top rope here.
08:43Look at the power, the power from Macho Gori.
08:47Not going to be enough there.
08:50It's a dangerous position right now for Micah.
08:54You certainly know that Sia Ida loves to utilize that muscle buster.
08:58And this could easily be the setup to that right here.
09:06To weaken the body of Micah.
09:08Sia Ida wants a receipt of her own, and a superplex down!
09:17Both of these women are even on superplex points by the end of the night.
09:21But Sia Ida and Micah,
09:22there is no one that is going to be on even foot
09:26by the end of this quarterfinal match.
09:28But not.
09:35работers crowd
09:36Mereli.
09:37Sia.
09:40Sia.
09:43I am ready!
09:52Here!
09:55Go!
09:57Nice!
09:58Others,
09:59too! Nice!
10:11Every single strike Saya Ida throws here, you can tell she knows, the people think she's
10:17out of her depth.
10:20Saya Ida is fighting with the resilience, with the resolve that still keeps in mind
10:24those matches from six years ago.
10:29Oh man!
10:35Like a shotgun blast in Coral Quinn Hall.
10:48Shotgun blast from Saya Ida, cannons fired from Micah.
11:02Only one woman has been able to stop Micah in her last two five-star tournament.
11:06Does her tournament tenure stop here tonight at the hands of Ida, Micah says no, Micah
11:12says no.
11:15Watch Micah here, popped up, spine on the pine from Saya.
11:22And a sliding southpaw shot, and the straps have come down here in Coral Quinn Hall.
11:47And a battering ram, Asha from Saya Ida.
11:53Here's the cover tonight.
11:55Two count once more on Micah.
11:57Still not going to be enough, Saya Ida continues to chase a first-time singles victory over
12:05the crazy Crimson Empress.
12:08Micah!
12:10Micah!
12:13Micah!
12:15Micah!
12:15Micah!
12:16Micah!
12:16Micah!
12:17Micah!
12:17Micah!
12:21Micah!
12:22I caught it out earlier on.
12:24I don't see that right here and now.
12:26Saya Ida has softened the body.
12:28Micah has in a dangerous position here.
12:32Micah knew the danger of that muscle buster.
12:34Has felt it scouted before, but out of the way now, out of the way.
12:37No!
12:38Flame drop.
12:39Flame drop!
12:41Inca, On Destlight Paul.
12:58Mika is looking to put this one away.
13:00That Michinoku driver.
13:02Taught to her by the mass runner herself, Takama Shinoku.
13:05It is Michinoku driver.
13:06That is going to be denied here tonight by Saeida.
13:10And that dragon and sleeper hold locked in dead in the center of the ring.
13:15That is going to have Mika's arms flailing.
13:17And when those arms stop moving, the body is going to give out.
13:24Oh!
13:38That Pele right to the left arm, Saeida has had that left arm targeted all throughout this five-star Grand
13:44Prix tournament in a Michinoku driver.
13:47Saeida!
13:51No!
13:55Mika knows the damage that has been done to that left arm of Saeida, the southpaw fighter.
14:00He is in a dangerous, dangerous position.
14:03The more that Mika can land shots just like this.
14:07Mika wants one.
14:08High angle.
14:09High reward.
14:10And Shinoku driver!
14:24I've seen Mika win five-star Grand Prix tournaments.
14:27World championships all over with that Michinoku driver.
14:32But she was not able to end the spirit of Saeida.
14:38For how much longer, though?
14:39How much longer can Saeida, Ida, and Stan?
14:42Wait a minute.
14:44Ida, Ida, Ida Bashi!
14:46Ida Bashi!
14:47No!
14:51Saeida trying to be one step ahead right here.
14:54This crowd is fully behind this fight here tonight in Kodakwin Hall.
14:59As Mika and Ida continue to blow in the center once on one.
15:02Bam, a southpaw shot.
15:06There it is.
15:11It is a rumble here tonight in Kodakwin Hall.
15:17You know, thinking it.
15:19Brain buster!
15:23And she's not letting go.
15:27Brain buster from Mika.
15:32Brain buster!
15:33No!
15:34No!
15:35No!
15:37This fight's still going!
15:42Watch Mika, watch Mika one more time!
15:45Up and down!
15:46And Shinoku driver!
15:48It's done!
15:49It's done!
15:52How in the hell?
15:54How in the hell is Saeida still in this fight?
15:58Ita!
16:00Ita!
16:01Ita!
16:02Ita!
16:02Ita!
16:03Ita!
16:04Ita!
16:05Rika needs to go big here.
16:08And Shinoku driver!
16:10That left arm!
16:11That left arm!
16:12It's done!
16:13Saeida has fallen tonight.
16:18To the ultimate fear of Saeida.
16:23Rika!
16:23Rika!
16:24Rika!
16:25Rika!
