Woman remanded for allegedly stabbing mother to death in Ipoh

Police have arrested a 49-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed her 70-year-old mother at their home in Taman Wang, Menglembu, Ipoh, at about 7pm on Sunday (Sept 27).  Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin on Monday said the suspect, who has a history of psychiatric treatment, was remanded until Oct 4.
