00:00Good morning everybody. This is a beautiful day, a beautiful morning. I was just about to start my
00:05skincare routine and I was thinking about routines because I'm sure a lot of people are going through
00:10this out there. My kids are going away to college. I was just thinking about that. I was thinking
00:15about this summer and what a great summer it was. We got to go away together. I spent as much
00:19time
00:20with them as I could and the travel was crazy and it wreaks havoc on your skin. It wreaks havoc
00:28on
00:28your body, but those routines really keep you going. I think when they go away and I'm sitting
00:35here being an empty nester and crying and thinking about them and looking at baby pictures of them
00:41and all that stuff, these routines are the things that are going to keep me kind of sane. Working
00:46out, doing my skincare routine, caring for myself with the newfound kind of space that's in your
00:54life. You know, you're so excited for them to step into this new, you know, era of their life. But
01:01it's also, we have to remember, it's a new era of our lives too. And maybe it's time to revive
01:08some old
01:08dreams that you had, something you put aside during the time that you were raising your kids or
01:15things you didn't have time for. Even if it's just reading books or anything like that, that you start
01:22these new rituals and routines that can fill the space for when they go away and they're not down
01:31the hall anymore. It's a scary time. It's a transitional time. It's a new beginning in a lot
01:39of ways. For them, certainly, but also for you. So don't forget that. Keep your routines going.
01:51Stay hydrated. Stay happy. Stay joyful. Stay productive. That's our mantra at JLo Beauty.
02:01You know, beauty starts from the inside out.
