Deep in the remote mountains of Zunyi, Guizhou, China lies a hidden secret spot.
Perched high upon the sheer cliff‑top sits a small hut. To get there, you have to hike along rough mountain trails, and pass by a century‑old iron‑chain bridge hanging above the deep canyon.
Many wooden planks on the bridge have been worn and damaged by wind and rain.
The path leading toward the summit is incredibly steep, and some sections must be scrambled up using both hands and feet.
I trekked all the way up to the top to visit this isolated cliff dwelling, trying to find out who built it and what it was used for.
