00:12The controversial comedian eviscerated her TV son, Michael Fishman, a.k.a. DJ Conner,
00:17after he said the Roseanne reboot deserved to be cancelled.

00:24As Page Six previously reported, Roseanne Barr launched a racist tweetstorm in May of 2018.
00:31She compared former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett to the Planet of the Apes.
00:36The following day, Barr issued a blanket apology, quote,
00:39I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans.
00:42I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks.
00:47I should have known better. Forgive me, my joke was in bad taste.
00:51ABC cancelled the show anyway two months into the reboot.
00:54Fishman, among others, condemned the tweets, and she claimed he threw her under the bus.
01:00Notably, the rest of the cast went on to star in The Conners, without Barr.
01:04It ran for another seven seasons until 2025.
01:07Cut to this year. In August, Michael Fishman reheated the feud
01:11when he responded to a comment he received on Instagram,
01:14claiming the reboot was axed over, quote, woke crap.

01:56And people are using a political smokescreen
01:58to justify the indefensible.
