00:22I heard they wanted to give me this award, and I was like, why?
00:24I haven't done s*** this year.
00:28My mother says just emailed me back a bunch of things that I've done this year.
00:32I was like, let's just go.
00:35I was really honored that she took the time to write it out.
00:38Mom's like, oh, we're going to deserve this.
00:40Okay, I'm going to go.
00:43But then, I was like, f***, I got to write a speech.
00:46Three to four minutes, that's so long.
00:49So then I just kind of forgot about it because I was working.
00:53And then I got distracted.
00:56Because the deadline was approaching, and the industry was competing in itself.
01:00We talked about it tonight.
01:03And this country has just been country.
01:07We did that very majority of the league.
01:10And I'm looking by El Muno, I'm L.A.I., and I have something that's fine.
01:15So, and then I thought, this is all men's fault.
01:28It's a pretty white man, to be specific for this woman.
01:32And I hate that I'm not passing the Bechdel test, but it is hard to feel like a powerful woman
01:38when her energy is f***ing everything.
01:47And I was like, this is hard to feel inspired and to feel helpless and useless.
01:58But whenever I feel like this, well, actually, luckily I'm a writer, and so I'm very used to being, to
02:06have those feelings and feelings of listening to me since I'm a professional procrastinator.
02:10And whenever I feel like this, I start trying to figure out the easiest things I can do, to feel
02:17like I did something.
02:18I am the person who makes a to-do list and writes, make a to-do list on it, and
02:24checks it off, so I feel like I did something.
02:26So I try to focus, not necessarily on the biggest things, but just something, the things I know I can
02:35be.
