00:02Palo Alto Network's shares rose about 3% Wednesday as investors favored select cybersecurity
00:07stocks and assessed the company's latest Unit 42 security offering, while the broader
00:11market declined, according to Benzinga.
00:14Ritholtz, Wealth Management's Josh Brown and Sean Russo included Palo Alto among four
00:18cybersecurity stocks they favor, as growing AI-related threats could increase demand for
00:23stronger cybersecurity tools.
00:25They also selected CrowdStrike, Fortinet, and Cloudflare.
00:28Palo Alto also launched a Unit 42 service that continuously checks companies for security
00:32weaknesses and helps address them before attackers can exploit them.
00:36The service uses AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI to identify risks, test potential attack
00:41paths, and prioritize fixes.
00:43Palo Alto developed the service through six months of internal testing and more than 100
00:47customer engagements, backed by a $17 million investment.
