02:19The CICC also alleged the platforms were connected to recent school shootings including the South Cotabato incident.
02:25On Wednesday, September 22, online users started feeling the ban and reported the platform could not be accessed.
02:31By Thursday, September 23, CICC Executive Director Renato Paraiso confirms the ban against Discord had been lifted after direct talks
02:39with the Discord management.
02:40Paraiso says the government wants to make response times faster for emergencies that require content or user account takedowns.
02:47He adds, this can be achieved through enhanced cooperation with Discord and Reddit.
