Xu Dawen (played by Shi Zhan) and Xu Dawu (also played by Shi Zhan) were once brothers as close as kin, sharing a deep bond. However, an accident led to Xu Dawen’s imprisonment; he was sentenced to three years for the crime of causing death by negligence. During his time behind bars, Xu Dawu’s career flourished, propelling him to the pinnacle of success. Upon his release, Xu Dawen finally reunited with the brother he had longed to see, only to find their relationship shattered by a conflict over money.
