Some travel mishaps arrive without warning, leaving a room suddenly unrecognizable.
The clip shows a hotel bathroom with the shower door broken into countless small pieces, spread across the floor and clustered near the shower threshold.
"My family and I were staying at a hotel in Anapa. After returning from the beach, we went back to our room to shower. I bathed my child first and then sat them on the bed to watch cartoons. After that, I stepped into the shower. As I began to close the glass shower door, it suddenly shattered into thousands of tiny pieces for no apparent reason. Fortunately, most of the glass fell away from me, but many small shards flew toward me, causing a deep cut on my arm along with multiple scratches and injuries across my body. What is especially alarming is that just a few seconds earlier, my child had been inside the shower. If the glass door had shattered while my child was there, the outcome could have been far more serious. The door broke spontaneously, without any force, impact, or misuse on my part," the filmer, Anna, told WooGlobe.
