00:04that we have been consistently bringing to you details of,
00:07which is the Delhi gang rape case.
00:08It's a shocking bid to destroy evidence that we are now learning of.
00:13This is the Kalkaji case that we are referring to,
00:16where a 17-year-old was, in fact, gang raped by three of these accused,
00:21Hemant, Mukesh and Asif.
00:23Now, two of them, the rapists, Hemant and Mukesh,
00:27they're brothers, they washed their clothes after raping the mine.
00:30And the bid was to destroy any DNA evidence and semen traces by the rapists.
00:35The rapists washed their track pants that they were wearing during the entirety of the case.
00:40The cops then recovered the clothes of all three accused.
00:43The rapist, Hemant, completed his law degree.
00:46Imagine people who are supposed to be studying
00:48and then eventually representing cases in the court of law.
00:53It's them who are going ahead and committing such heinous crimes.
00:59Cops probe if the law knowledge played a role as well,
01:03with regards to, so not that the law knowledge is actually helping this person do any good,
01:08but instead helping him facilitate this crime further,
01:11so that all evidence for this entire crime could have been completely done away with.
01:17Mukesh and Hemant deleted their search history as well on their respective devices,
01:21is what we are learning of.

01:25Anshul, this is the latest what we are getting to understand.
01:29And both of these brothers, one of them was preparing for law, for his law degree,
01:34and he might have actually had information with how to deal with the forensics,
01:39so that there is no evidence left behind.
01:46Well, definitely, and that is something that seems to have happened,
01:48because Mukesh, who was the person who had, in fact, completed his law degree,
01:53there was his brother as well, who was studying BSc in Mathematics,
01:57is what we have been told,
01:58whereas Asif, who is the third accused,
02:00was an uneducated vegetable vendor.
02:04So, Mukesh actually knew that what are the kind of evidences
02:07that the police is going to collect and that is going to connect them directly to the crime scene.
02:12They knew that there will be DNA traces on their pants and on their clothes,
02:16and hence, as soon as the incident happened,
02:18they went back to their houses and washed the clothes absolutely clean
02:25before deleting the search history on their mobile phones.
02:28The Delhi police has gone ahead and recovered the search history of Asif,
02:32and in that search history,
02:34these several porn videos have also been recovered.
02:38Now, the phone has now been sent to a forensic lab,
02:41where the Delhi police will actually try to ascertain
02:43as to what were the sites that were visited by the said accused,
02:46were there any other material that could have linked them exactly to the scene of crime.
02:52It has also come to the fore that Asif was the person
02:56who used to visit that site very, very regularly.
02:59So, somewhere or the other, it definitely seems like that destruction of evidence has happened
03:04and that these sections are also going to be added in the FIR that has been lodged
03:08against all these three accused.
03:11So, definitely, it is very, very clear that the accused knew that they have committed a crime.
03:15They knew the ways through which they could escape from the hands of the police
03:19because the police will have to establish this with evidences in front of the courts
03:23as to what actually transpired, the exact timeline,
03:25what are the kind of clothes that these people were wearing,
03:28what are the kind of traces that has been recovered from these clothes.
03:31So, all these evidences are supposed to be produced in front of the courts.
03:35Mukesh knew that these evidences, that the police will come after them
03:37and will seek for these evidences and hence, as he had time in his hand,
03:41he washed those clothes clean before being arrested by the police.
03:45However, the Delhi police has been able to recover those clothes
03:48and these clothes have yet again been sent for false sex testing
03:50so that if at all there are any remaining traces of the DNA traces of the said victim
03:56that could be recovered from them.

04:10who in fact deserve the strictest and stringest of actions by the court of law
