00:01And finally I have a personal note in my report this month. It's been brought
00:08home to me over the past few days that it's not easy being the family of a
00:12councillor. Council's responsibilities to the council and the city sometimes pull
00:20us away from the family responsibilities and our commitment to those we love. It
00:26is a balance that we try to achieve and we don't always get that balance right.
00:33Over the last few days I have failed to get that balance right. So to my family
00:38and especially to my wife I say sorry and thank you for all that you have done and
00:45no doubt will do to continue to support me as I strive to support the Ravenswood
00:50Ward and the City of Greater Bendigo community. I can't promise to always get
00:55the balance right but I can promise to keep always trying to get as close as
01:00possible and do the most good I can for everybody in our community. And with that
