00:20I
00:20started this big work on the French in the 90's, after I made the cinema,
00:26I made the land, the ciel, I made a lot of other things.
00:28It was three years ago, I decided, with Hervé Lebrun,
00:30who is the biggest dmographer French,
00:32to do a big work on the French,
00:35to show all the jobs, all the social classes,
00:39all the family styles,
00:42all this country that is changing a lot.
00:45And I must recognize that, in doing this work,
00:49I found a country that is opposed to the country
00:52that we are breaking the ears of the media,
00:54all the social media channels,
00:55all the political channels,
00:58I did not find a fractured France.
00:59I found a happy, joyful France,
01:02proud of their work.
01:05It's a bit utopia,
01:06it's always a bit utopia,
01:07but I took 40.000 people here,
01:09I had a photo studio here,
01:11about 1500 people in three days.
01:13The history of humanity,
01:15it's divisions, it's wars.
01:18And today,
01:19I made the land view of the ciel.
01:21When I photographed the land,
01:23there is no border,
01:24it's a single planet,
01:25where we live all together,
01:26and we have to share.
01:27And in this difficult and complicated
01:29that comes before us,
01:31the cooperation,
01:34the sharing,
01:36the transmitting,
01:37it's what's most important.
01:38And I think that
01:39more we give,
01:40more we receive.
01:40In any case,
01:41today,
01:41I have really the impression
01:42that my work,
01:44I want to give a sense
01:46to what I do.
01:48And the sense that I wanted to give,
01:50it's quite simply
01:52love.
01:53Because the real beauty of the world,
01:56it's the people who share,
01:58it's the people who give,
01:59it's the people who transmit.
02:00And this beauty,
02:01it's called love.
02:01And love is at the heart of my work.
