00:00The Indian Express investigation on a rift within the Election Commission has led to a big, big political showdown.
00:06And in the southern states, in Tamil Nadu, the DMK has also referred to, in fact, this particular expose to
00:13lash out at the CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
00:15MK Stalin, DMK chief, has put out a statement saying and reiterating that this DMK stand is that CEC Gyanesh
00:23Kumar must be fired, must step down.
00:26At the same time, you've also got the DMK suggesting that the SIR exercise has been exposed, that over 1
00:32lakh votes were deleted from the Kolatur seat, which remember, Stalin had lost.
00:37And so, what the DMK seems to be suggesting is that even in the Kolatur seat that Stalin had lost,
00:43there was some issue, conspiracy because of the SIR exercise.
00:48So, you see, almost every regional party now, opposition bloc, all of these parties objecting to, in fact, the CEC,
00:56suggesting that the SIR impact was felt in several of the states that went to elections just months ago.

01:03So, Pramod, the DMK crime conspiracy, you know, they had even taken this up legally.
01:07And now, with this particular expose on the election commission, they're suggesting that this is proof of what happened to
01:14Kolatur.
01:16Akshita, this is a very important kind of development considering this just did not happen just like that, Akshita.
01:20Even last week, Prakash Raj was in Chennai.
01:22He actually questioned the SIR process and he also said that, like, we need to find out if MK Stalin
01:27was defeated or was there something else.
01:29And everything about the SIR will come to know in due course of time.
01:32And amidst this, we have this particular kind of development which has become ammunition for MK Stalin who very clearly
01:37says that the CEC, Gyanish Kumar's actions and especially with that particular daily's report, he's now questioning this entire process
01:44right now, Akshita.
01:45And he also says that the CEC must be remote.
01:48This seems to be the kind of, like, state right now from DMK, Akshita.
