Life is Very Sad 9/11 Memorial [Music]

[Intro]
[Verse]
Life Is Very Sad
[Verse 1]
September skies, the morning came,
A day the world would never be the same.
So many lives were taken away,
We still remember them today.
People were frightened, hearts were breaking,
But there were others who kept helping.
Heroes stood together, brave and strong,
Trying to help people all along.
[Chorus]
Life is very sad, but we remember,
Those we lost that September.
Two thousand one, a day in history,
Their memories will always be.
Through every tear and every scar,
We remember who they are.
And the people who tried to save a life,
We remember their courage and sacrifice.
[Verse 2]
Families waited, hoping and praying,
While the whole world watched the day changing.
First responders answered the call,
Trying to help people through it all.
Firefighters, police, and others too,
Did what they believed they had to do.
Ordinary people showed their care,
Helping strangers when they were there.
[Chorus]
Life is very sad, but we remember,
Those we lost that September.
Two thousand one, a day in history,
Their memories will always be.
Through every tear and every scar,
We remember who they are.
And the people who tried to save a life,
We remember their courage and sacrifice.
[Bridge]
Years may pass, but memories remain,
We remember through the sunshine and rain.
May every family find peace someday,
And may their loved ones never fade away.
[Final Chorus]
Life is very sad, but we remember,
Those we lost that September.
Two thousand one, forever in our hearts,
Their memories will never depart.
We honor every life that day,
And those who helped along the way.
With love and remembrance shining bright,
We keep their memory alive tonight.
September 11, 2001,
We remember everyone.
We remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.
