00:32Mr. President, Mr. Secretary General, First Lady of the United States,
00:38distinguished delegates, ambassadors, and fellow leaders,
00:43it's my great honor to welcome the world to America
00:47as we celebrate 250 years of glorious freedom and independence.
00:53Two and a half centuries after the cause of liberty found its home on this continent,
01:00I can report to you with pride that America is back
01:05and our country is stronger today than ever before.
01:12Our economy is the envy of the world.
01:15Our military is the most powerful on earth.
01:18Our technology is second to none, and we are leading in virtually everything.
01:22Our energy is fueling the planet.
01:26America is rising.
01:27Our nation is growing.
01:29Our power is expanding.
01:30Our country is doing better than ever before.
01:33And our future is very, very bright.
01:37Since I took office, we have created more than one million new private sector jobs,
01:42and more Americans are working today by far than ever before.
01:48Last week, it was announced that the poverty rate has reached its lowest level in American history.
01:56We lifted 1.5 million Americans out of poverty last year alone, another record.
02:03The African American and Hispanic American poverty rates are at all-time lows.
02:10Real household incomes for Americans have soared to the highest level in history,
02:1787,000 on average, surpassing the prior record.
02:21Upon taking office last year, I immediately opened negotiations with Iran
02:26and offered them full economic cooperation in exchange for ending their nuclear program
02:32and support for terror, but they refused.
02:35They absolutely refused.
02:37That was a big mistake.
02:39Then, in Operation Midnight Hammer, the U.S. military obliterated their nuclear program
02:44beneath mountains of rubble.
02:46And again, I urged Iran to make a deal, and again, they refused.
02:51The regime continued building a vast missile and drone stockpile
02:55that threatened the security of every American service member in the region
02:59and everyone else in the region.
03:02They also made a missile that was capable of hitting Europe, and they were very proud of it.
03:08I hope the Europeans realize that.
03:11Iran's goal was to complete their mad dash to a nuclear bomb.
03:18That resolution, I'm pleased to say, received more co-sponsors from U.N. member nations
03:24than any Security Council resolution in history.
03:29That's something.
03:30Now we must be equally united in maintaining pressure.
03:34The United States Navy has recently escorted more than one billion barrels of oil
03:39out of the Strait of Hormuz, and more oil is flowing than at any point since the start of the
03:45war.
03:46We're taking 22, 25, 30, 32, and 37 ships out, respectively, every single day, every single night.
03:56But I have a big decision to make.
03:59Let's see what happens.
04:01We'll not allow a haven for foreign adversaries to threaten America on our own doorstep.
04:08It's right at our doorstep.
04:10The Cuban regime has also spent decades coordinating with the left-wing radicals and communist networks
04:16here in the United States.
04:18As our State Department has detailed, they've cultivated ties to subversive and radical groups
04:25such as the Communist Party USA, Antifa, and the Democrat Socialists of America.
04:32Communism will never be coming to America, but freedom will be coming to Cuba,
04:37and safety and security will be coming to Mexico.
04:41I'm very proud to tell you we have a very good relationship with the Mexican government.
04:45We've made great strides, very great strides with Mexico.
04:49They don't want the cartels either.
04:51Time to stop the killing.
04:52I also want to recognize the extraordinary work of our great First Lady,
04:58who has secured the safe return of many displaced Ukrainian and Russian children
05:03back home to their families.
05:05So many.

05:26And if we go forward strong and united against the enemies of all humanity,
05:32if we reject the voices who would have us give in to fear and doubt,
05:37if we refuse to shrink from our duties to our people,
05:42then together, through bold action,
05:45we will make this world far safer and a far better place.
05:49We will leave our nations far stronger.
05:53We will grow our economies far bigger.
05:56And we will not just speak of peace, prosperity, and justice here at the United Nations.
06:02We will stand for them all over the world.
06:06Together, we will build a future for a people that is brighter,
06:10more hopeful, and more magnificent than ever before.
