With slow, deliberate movements, it pulls up a puff adder it has been feeding on and continues eating without any visible rush.  After finishing, the bird pauses and looks around the surrounding area.  The measured pace turns a tense predator-and-prey moment into something almost routine, a reminder of how practiced these encounters can be.
