A UN-mandated fact-finding mission says there are “reasonable grounds to believe” the United States committed war crimes in two February 2026 strikes in Iran, including an attack on a primary school in Minab and another on a sports complex in Lamerd. The mission said the strikes killed at least 178 civilians.  The findings are disputed by the U.S. government, which rejected the report.
