The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad won three key posts in the Delhi University Students' Union elections, while an independent candidate secured the vice-president post and the National Students' Union of India bagged none. Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the student outfit, stating the victory reflects faith in its nation-first ideology and commitment to student welfare. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders also lauded the win following the recent Panjab University election results. Meanwhile, National Students' Union of India president Vinod Jakhar accused the outfit and the university administration of vote-rigging and intentionally slowing down the counting process.

00:00In the very latest, Home Minister Amit Shah has congratulated ABVP for their dominant performance in DU student body polls.
00:08The Home Minister has posted and I quote,
00:10Hard pair congratulations to all the dedicated activists of the Council on ABVP's magnificent victory in the Delhi University Students'
00:19Union elections.
00:19This victory reflects the youth's unwavering faith in the Council's nation-first ideology and its commitment to student welfare.
00:28I am fully confident that drawing fresh energy from this win and following the ideals of Swami Vivekanand,
00:35the Council's activists will continue to advance the cause of student welfare and nation-building unquote.
00:46And that's the latest message that has come in from Union Home Minister Amit Shah,
00:51who has congratulated ABVP on its victory in the Doosu polls.
00:56There you see the numbers flashing on your screens and although it is a reduced margin but certainly a victory,
01:03that this time around feels like a bigger challenge, feels like a bigger win given all that had happened post
01:09the students' protest at Jantar Mantar.
01:12The Gen Z has given its verdict in the Doosu elections that is now being celebrated not just by ABVP
01:18but even the BJP in a big way.
01:21We saw responses from Kiran Rajivu, Nitin Nabi and now Union Home Minister Amit Shah,
01:26who has congratulated the ABVP on its victory, where the word is very, very clear.
01:32The exact slogans that were raised on the ground,
01:35Chhatro ki Goonj, as we've seen the politics that has played out,
01:41especially over Gen Z and now ABVP winning big.

02:38But most importantly, how the BJP is celebrating this victory in the biggest manner.
02:44We saw the sort of responses that came in last week when ABVP had won the president post
02:48in the Punjab student elections.
02:50And now in the Doosu polls, with the victory of the ABVP,
02:55this latest response by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
03:02We have seen that reactions have started pouring in from the various corners of India,
03:07especially from the BJP and the other leaders from the RSS,
03:11where they're congratulating ABVP for their victory,
03:13because that's not the very first time that we have seen that ABVP has clinched
03:17top position in a panel of a university election.
03:21Earlier we have seen that in Punjab university elections also,
03:24from Home Minister Amit Shah to BJP President Nita Naveen and various other BJP leaders.
03:28And regional BJP leaders have congratulated the ABVP,
03:32the student wing of RSS, for their victory.
03:34And now again we are seeing that leaders from the Bahati Janta Party,
03:37from top cabinet ministers to the various chief ministers,
03:40are congratulating ABVP for their victory.
03:43They are saying that the students and the Gen Z have chose the nation's first ideology,
03:48the right wing in the ideology of the ABVP and the RSS.
03:51On the other hand we are also seeing that Rahul Gandhi's Chhatra Vibun program in Indore
03:56has also started.
03:57But on the other hand we are also seeing politics escalating on this issue,
04:01where NSOI, the National Students' Union of India,
04:04those who have lost all four positions,
04:07they were not in a condition to even score a single position in the central panel
04:12of Delhi University Students' Union election.
04:15They are accusing ABVP and Delhi University of rigging the election.
04:19In a video bite we have seen that Vino Jakhar, NSOI National President,
