00:00The following is a fatal four-way match for the United States Championship!
00:14Introducing the challenger from Los Angeles, California, weighing 224 pounds, Sean Morrison!
00:25Ladies and gentlemen, the man is 2-0 at Night of Champions.
00:29He's a former Intercontinental Champion and a Tag Team Champion as well, the Prince of Parkour.
00:35The only guy that I know that can, on occasion, go into slow motion.
00:40That's so cool! I love that entrance, don't you, Booker?
00:43I like John Morrison's appearance. This guy has that hit factor coming off that injury.
00:49I'm sure he's getting stronger and stronger every day.
00:54No!
01:09He's getting stronger from Washington D.C., weighing 251 pounds, Alex Riley!
01:17Well, earlier last week, ladies and gentlemen, WWE.com posed a question to Alex Reilly.
01:23Is he ready to win his first championship in the WWE?
01:27Alex Reilly said, I have one focus tonight. I'm clear-headed. I'm going to win this matchup.
01:32In his words, things are going to go awry tonight.
01:38Check, watch out!
01:40Oh, watch out!
01:42From Perry, Oklahoma, with 263 pounds, the all-American, American, Jack Swagger!
01:52You know this match is every man for himself, but Jack Swagger, I don't think, would want any help from
01:57anybody anyway.
01:58Well, Swagger's being wooed by Vicky Guerrero as a potential client, but things haven't worked out too well the past
02:04couple of weeks.
02:05Seems he can't get along with current Vicky Guerrero client, Dolph Ziggler.
02:09How did you get along with Swagger when you pounded around with him around WrestleMania?
02:12It worked out for a while.
02:16And being a fucking brave, I'm Vicky Guerrero, from Hollywood, Florida.
02:20Waiting to 123 pounds, is the current United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler!
02:29I love it when Vicky looks angry.
02:31Well, you know, Vicky has had a lot of those kind of relationships.
02:35The ones that worked out for a while.
02:38Let me tell you something, Dolph Ziggler better have a game plan tonight because it's, like you said, King, all
02:44for one in one fall.
02:46I love these kind of matches right here.
02:47Yeah, not the way that Dolph wants to defend his United States Championship.
02:50He has no advantage in this matchup, just a 25% chance of retaining.
02:55Now, remember, Ziggler does not have to be involved in the decision under fatal four-way rules.
03:00First man to gain pinballer submission is the United States Champion.
03:04So, Jerry, that means, say, Jack Swagger pins Alex Riley Swagger would be the champ.
03:08And Dolph Ziggler loses the championship.
03:10And you're right.
03:11Ziggler has not one opponent but three.
03:13But that little monkey wrench that you just talked about right there, that's what Dolph really has to look out
03:19for.
03:19You know, this could be the worst way you could lose your title.
03:22And the thing is, it still goes on your record as a loss.
03:25That's a shame.
03:26And here we go now.
03:28Alex Riley goes to work on the champion.
03:29Morrison and Swagger at it in another corner.
03:31In 1975, the first United States Champion was crowned.
03:35That was WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race.
03:38Over the years, a dozen Hall of Famers have held this championship, including Ric Flair and Stone Cold Steve Austin,
03:45Dusty Rhodes, and Bret Hart.
03:47This is going to be one hard match to watch.
03:49Keep track of all the action.
03:51And you think the referee had a tough time in The Miz and the Awesome Truths match earlier on.
03:55What about this referee?
03:57I'm going to tell you, I can't even call it right here.
03:59Who's going to win this thing?
04:00It's going to be a toss-up.
04:02It's up in the air right now, guys.
04:03It really is a toss-up.
04:04It's Jack Swagger, a former World Heavyweight Champion.
04:07Well, you know what you just said there?
04:09All of these guys are so equally, I think, equally talented.
04:13So I'm going to go with the man that just has the advantage, size and strength-wise.
04:18Here's Riley.
04:19Riley.
04:19Looking for his first championship.
04:21I'm still thinking that Jack Swagger may come out victorious in this thing.
04:24You know, I think Alex Riley's the real dark horse in this matchup, because Riley may be the hungriest of
04:29all four competitors.
04:30He's never held a championship.
04:31You know what I'm going to tell you?
04:32The only way Alex Riley going to win this thing tonight.
04:34Oh, my God.
04:35Can I take my pit back?
04:36Yeah, you can.
04:38Yeah.
04:38Oh, look at Morrison inside the ring now, ladies and gentlemen.
04:40Swagger in trouble.
04:41Take that in, too.
04:42That's the guy I'm going with right there, John Morrison.
04:45This kid actually can do it all.
04:46Like I said, if he's up to strength, if he's 100%, John Morrison's going to pull this thing off.
04:52I'll tell you who's not 100%.
04:54Oh, man.
04:55Nice shot there by Morrison.
04:56Swagger may be out cold.
04:57John Morrison looking to win the United States Championship.
04:59Hook to the leg.
05:00Look at Ziggler saving his title.
05:01I'll tell you, I think Alex Riley's hurt over there.
05:04Alex Riley, a nasty fall as John Morrison takes control.
05:08Look at how.
05:08Notice how he dropped, kicked Ziggler out of the ring and fell right back into the cover of Swagger.
05:12Well, when it's one-on-one and it's every man for himself, you really got to take advantage of that
05:16situation.
05:17John Morrison has that mentality tonight.
05:19He just want to go out here and win.
05:20Like I said, this will put John Morrison back on track.
05:25And Jack Swagger.
05:27What a hip toss.
05:29Jack Swagger, 6'6", 263.
05:32Boy, Morrison lucky to break some of that fall by landing partly on his feet.
05:35And this here is interesting, as we talked about earlier.
05:39Don't fall for this.
05:40This is the oldest trick in the book.
05:43My best!
05:44You won't take that, UDP!
05:47Oh.
05:48Oh, and Ziggler, who is a client of Vickie's already, Swagger would like to join the fold,
05:53but Swagger did not fall for the distraction.
05:56Wow, man.
05:56Swagger kept his hands up at all times.
05:59Swagger's doing the work right now, trying to get the job done, win this championship, go back to the whole
06:04team.
06:04Oh, look at A-Roy.
06:05A-Roy.
06:05A-Roy, look at him, put Swagger away.
06:07A-Roy may be a United States champion.
06:10Can Alex Riley win this one here?
06:13Hook of the leg, look at Vickie, look at Vickie.
06:17Vickie saving the matchup for the champion Dolph Ziggler, her client.
06:22Oh, she also saved it for my pick, Jack Swagger, but do you even know that?
06:26That's right, I never thought about it that way.
06:28Did you just cost me my match?
06:31Did you just cost me my match?
06:33Morrison, boom.
06:35No, but John Morrison, here we go.
06:37That's it.
06:37Morrison may put away here.
06:38That's it, right there, bro.
06:38Morrison gonna pin the champion, or he won't.
06:41Stay on top of him, Morrison.
06:43Tonight could be your night, kid.
06:45Boy, Dolph Ziggler asking his manager, Vickie Guerrero, the tough question.
06:50What do you think?
06:51Did she just cost Dolph Ziggler the match?
06:54You know, I think Dolph's about to cause himself to match.
06:56I mean, he just needs to keep his eye on the prize.
06:58Boyd here, win this match.
07:00Oh, Ziggler, right to the back of Morrison's neck.
07:04And Dolph Ziggler may not need Vickie.
07:05Ziggler gonna put Morrison away, retain his United States title,
07:08and air ball for the champion.
07:11Yeah, we'll look back again at how arguing with Vickie,
07:13almost got Dolph in big trouble.
07:18Almost a win for Morrison.
07:20Can't believe Ziggler kicked out right there.
07:22You're still aware of what's going on.
07:24It all shows you should never argue with a woman.
07:26You will not come out on top.
07:28Dolph Ziggler won the United States Championship
07:30back at Capital Punishment in June.
07:33Very successful title reign thus far.
07:36Oh, but will it end tonight?
07:38Every man for himself, first man to gain pinfall or submission,
07:41becomes the champion.
07:44What's John Morrison got in mind here?
07:47Ow!
07:48Who knows?
07:49I wonder if John Morrison knows what he's gonna do
07:51until he's actually in the air.
07:52I'll tell you, any way you look at it,
07:54this John Morrison's air and cold right here.
07:55This kid is unbelievable off the top rope.
07:58Parkour extraordinaire.
08:00Morrison, who loves to take high risk,
08:02gonna try to take another one here.
08:03Could be a superplex as Ziggler battles out of this,
08:06but sometimes when you go high risk, you get burned.
08:09Yeah, you're right.
08:10Morrison thinking superplex,
08:11but Dolph holding up for dear life,
08:13and oh, that's a...
08:14Uh-oh.
08:14Not good for Morrison right now.
08:16And Alex Riley...
08:18Wow!
08:19Went right after the champion Ziggler.
08:22Alex Riley way up in the...
08:24Look at Morrison!
08:25Whoa, whoa!
08:26Can you believe that?
08:27Oh, man!
08:28Talk about core strength for Morrison.
08:32And Swagger!
08:33What a throw!
08:35Three!
08:36Swagger just needs to cover somebody...
08:39Cover somebody!
08:39Just cover somebody, Swag!
08:42Oh, my God!
08:44Morrison may have tweaked that knee.
08:45Jack Swagger and Alex Riley,
08:47the only man left in the ring.
08:50Morrison hyperextended his knee or something.
08:51He could be a non-factor from here on out.
08:53I may have...
08:53Or Vicky barking orders,
08:54trying to get Swagger up.
08:56I may have to change my pick.
08:56To somehow pin Riley.
08:57Good, good description.
08:59Barking orders.
09:03I didn't mean it that way.
09:04Oh, I'm sorry.
09:06What's this now?
09:07Check this out.
09:07Take one more look at this move.
09:09Morrison was amazing.
09:10Morrison right here.
09:13Morrison back in the ring.
09:16And John Morrison
09:17pulling out all the stops here tonight.
09:23John Morrison got some momentum.
09:24Like I said,
09:25this kid is unbelievable
09:26with the moves he'll go out there and try.
09:28Whether he pull it off or not,
09:30he'll still try it.
09:32Check it out.
09:33Oh, man.
09:34Look at Morrison.
09:35The great counter!
09:35Exactly what I'm talking about right there.
09:37And then a kick-up off the great counter
09:39by Morrison.
09:40And John Morrison's rolling.
09:42Morrison!
09:43Oh, that's it right there!
09:45A new champion!
09:46A new champion!
09:49Another near fall for Morrison.
09:51Oh, look at John Morrison's eyes, man.
09:53This kid has got his second win,
09:54and he's rolling right now.
09:57Oh, this is not good for Riley.
09:59John Morrison has him in position.
10:02First patented finishing maneuver.
10:03Starship pain.
10:05Morrison calls it.
10:06Here he goes!
10:07Starship pain!
10:08And Riley countered with knees to the kidney.
10:11And Dolph Ziggler.
10:12Sleeper!
10:13Sleeper hold!
10:14Sleeper hold on Morrison!
10:15This should be it!
10:16I'm afraid this is it for Morrison.
10:18Sleeper hold locked in.
10:20Jack Swagger ankle locked on Riley.
10:23Riley in the ankle lock.
10:25John Morrison in the sleeper.
10:26Who's gonna go first?
10:27Will Riley tap?
10:28Will Morrison pass out?
10:31Will Morrison pass out?
10:32Can't look at Swagger.
10:34Riley.
10:35Man, collision.
10:37Alex Riley tied.
10:39Don't tell me this is it.
10:41It's over.
10:42Riley's gonna do it.
10:43Hooks both legs.
10:44You gotta be kidding me.
10:45Kick out at two and a half.
10:47Wow.
10:47Alex Riley almost won the title.
10:54It's like Christmas morning for Vicky Guerrero all of a sudden.
10:57Look how happy she was.
10:59Could you believe, man?
11:00That would have been so huge for Alex Riley to pull that win off right there.
11:05Man.
11:06Well, he's not done.
11:07He still might be able to do it here.
11:10And Jack Swagger back to the ankle lock again.
11:13Can he lock it in?
11:13And he does.
11:14Oh, look at Nugget.
11:15He's gotta twist his ankle off.
11:16This kid's in a lot of pain right now.
11:18He's gonna break it.
11:19John Morrison.
11:21Look at this.
11:22Oh, and he misses.
11:23His Swagger ducks underneath.
11:25That was a low blow.
11:27Yeah, look at Swagger.
11:28Got a wrench.
11:29Powerbomb.
11:31Ziggler.
11:32Dolph Ziggler.
11:32He's gotta be like this.
11:34Ziggler picks up the scraps and retains the title.
11:37Whoa.
11:39The winner of this match and still United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler.
11:46Can you believe that?
11:49Dolph Ziggler retains the United States Championship.
11:53Yeah, after Jack Swagger did all the damage.
11:55Doesn't matter.
11:56Ziggler did what he had to do under fatal four-way rules.
11:59Wow.
12:00Dolph Ziggler took advantage.
12:02Swagger did the work to your point, King.
12:04But Dolph Ziggler, right place, right time.
12:06That was Dolph Ziggler's advantage.
12:08It was great.
12:12Jack Swagger cannot believe it.
12:15He had John Morrison dead to rights off the gut wrench powerbomb.
12:20And Dolph Ziggler.
12:23Well, Vicky Guerrero's still very, very happy.
12:26Her client's still Intercontinental Champion.
12:30The United States Champion.
12:34Check this out right here.
12:35Morrison was looking great.
12:37Absolutely.
12:37With this big boom right here.
12:38Cropped it with that DDT.
12:40I thought it was over.
12:43Swagger having a little bit of problems here.
12:46Oh.
12:48Knocking Dolph Ziggler out of the ring.
12:50That would come back to haunt Swagger later.
12:52Without this problem, it's continued.
12:53John Morrison.
12:55He had missed that.
12:56Watch this.
12:58Jack Swagger was about to put Morrison away after the gut wrench suplex.
13:03On that powerbomb.
13:04And Dolph Ziggler takes control.
13:07And retains the United States Championship.
13:10Well, he can't bomb Dolph Ziggler.
13:12Right place at the right time.
13:15Outsmarted Jack Swagger.
13:18Every man for himself.
13:25Joining me now is the challenge.
13:26Yes.
13:27Yes.
13:29We won.
13:30We won.
13:32We won.
13:34We won.
13:35Yeah, you seem to be really happy with the result of the match.
13:37I'm exhilarated.
13:39Tonight, I saw my future.
13:42The U.S. Champion works for me.
13:45Jack Swagger wants to work for me.
13:47In fact, every superstar in the locker room is buzzing.
13:52That they all want to work with me.
13:56Finally, my talents have been recognized.
14:01Things are about to happen.
14:04In fact, if Triple H loses tonight and steps down, I believe, no, I know I will make a great
14:15C-O-O.
14:17No, I'm sure.
14:27Oh, man.
14:28Could you imagine Vickie Guerrero running the WWE?
14:32Well, what's wrong with that?
14:33Are fate worse than death?
14:35Because the question is, is the next time we're on pay-per-view, will we have a new COO of
14:39the WWE?
14:39There's nothing, I don't know.
14:40I don't know.
14:40You're absolutely right.
14:40You
