00:00Honestly, speaking of women in sport or, like, women not in sport, the amount of text messages, DMs, comments, people
00:12wanting to know, maybe not know, but wanting me to talk about the Sydney Sweeney ad, like, I feel like
00:22we got a hit on it.
00:23Everyone's talking about it, and they want to know.
00:27Now, let me ask you this.
00:28You've met her before, correct?
00:31Actually, I had a NASCAR event last year, and I spent, like, five minutes with her.
00:35So, I met her, but, like, do I know her?
00:37No.
00:38What's your take?
00:40I know that you love giving takes, so what is your take on the ad?
00:45I have so many takes, but, like, it's just, first of all, like, does she even, like, does she even
00:52gamble on sports?
00:53Like, it's just so unauthentic.
00:55You know what I mean?
00:56Like, am I surprised of how she represented the brand?
01:01No.
01:01Like, that's what she's made her whole career off is, and hey, don't get me wrong.
01:06Like, I like her.
01:07Like, she, everyone knows she is beautiful.
01:08She is hot.
01:09She clearly has my chest.
01:12Sorry, just have to fix my seat real quick.
01:15And so, like, I really like her.
01:17You know what?
01:17She sticks to her guns, and she does her thing, and she's her.
01:20So, like, props to her.
01:22Do I like it?
01:23Like, that particular ad, not really.
01:26Like, I think it's, like, I mean, like, what are we doing?
01:29But, again, I'm not surprised.
01:30Like, that's what she's known for.
01:32So, she's going to do that.
01:33She's making her money.
01:34Go do your thing, sis.
01:36Now, here's my hot take.
01:38What, what, what?
01:39I was just going to say, she's just running her playbook.
01:41She literally did the exact same thing with the Gene campaign.
01:44And to be honest with you, the crazy thing is, all the people that were outraged were women.
01:49And the ad was clearly targeting men.
01:52Men.
01:52Because the majority of gamblers, I think they said 75% of gamblers are men between the ages of whatever
01:59and whatever, like younger men.
02:00So, I think they knew what they were doing.
02:02They knew that they were going to spike up a lot of traffic from women being disappointed with the ad
02:06and putting her down.
02:08And men weren't going to say anything.
02:10And they were going to get all the eyeballs on the ad, which they clearly did.
02:14So, I understand.
02:15They just ran the same playbook that they did last time they were pissed at the Gene ad.
02:18Now, they just did it for a sports gambling company.
02:20And I'm sure they'll do it again.
02:21But why are girls mad?
02:23Like, that is literally what she does.
02:26Why is anyone mad?
02:27Like, she is a gambling ad.
02:30Men, sports.
02:31Girls, pretty much naked women.
02:33Like, of course, that's going to draw attention.
02:34Again, do I agree with it?
02:36Morally, I think it's kind of weird.
02:37But, like, teach their own.
02:38Go do your thing, sis.
02:39But at the end of the day, I'm really loving seeing all these girls who are powerful, strong, showing young
02:44girls what it looks like to actually be an athlete.
02:47I don't think the ad was coming for women in sport.
02:49But I will say I think I will take this time, a little bit of time to, you know, talk
02:54about, I think it has been so cool to see girls who, you know what, they're muscly, their thighs touch,
03:02they have broad shoulders.
03:03They might be taller than the average girl and probably the average boy.
03:07But, you know what, I think that's what it is.
03:10Like, you've got to embrace your power.
03:11And I was tall growing up.
03:13I was taller than all the girls, all the guys.
03:15And my mom is 5'11".
03:17My aunt is 6'2", 6'3".
03:19My grandma was tall at the time.
03:23And, you know, every time they kind of saw us shrinking in photos or trying to be, like, smaller than
03:27the guys, like, no, you better stand straight up because that's going to be your biggest superpower one day.
03:30Your strength, your athletic ability, how tall you are.
03:34Like, God made you that way for a reason.
03:36And so you better use it.
03:37And I just want girls to know that, like, don't shrink.
03:39Don't shrink to make other people feel better about themselves when you're born to stick out.
03:45I will say, though, like, I can understand when you first see that ad that, like, it could kind of
03:51deflate women because it's like, we've worked so hard to get a little bit of respect around here.
03:54But then when you really think about it, it's like, screw it.
03:57Let that girl go do her thing.
03:58We can still, this has nothing to do with us.
04:00So, you know, it's nothing like everyone trying to hate on each other and figure out life.
04:06So that's great.
