00:10You have the Chinese ecosystem still trying to catch up with the U.S.,
00:13and the Huawei update was a significant update on that front.
00:17Huawei launched 10 new chips at its new Huawei Connect forum on Thursday.
00:23A lot of that focus was around the technology differences with the U.S.
00:27and how to bridge them, most notably by using optical interconnect,
00:31which is one of Huawei's native technology advantages,
00:35and basically bringing together a mass of less complicated chips
00:40to achieve the same performance as top-of-the-line U.S. chips.
00:43So there is a lot of belief in the market around that push today.
00:46You're seeing the Chinese space in the AI space rally very sharply
00:50across both the LLM and the chip makers,
00:52and optical names are rallying as far afield as Korea.
