An overworked delivery driver lands in the ER after putting his paycheck ahead of his body’s warning signs. What initially looks like the consequence of working too hard quickly becomes a medical crisis that could cost him his life.

Doc follows Dr. Amy Larsen and the doctors around her as challenging cases collide with the personal realities of the patients they treat. This case puts the consequences of ignoring basic physical needs under an unforgiving spotlight.

Doc Season 3 returns Tuesday, September 22, 2026 on FOX and streams the next day on Hulu.

00:00Jessica, come help get ready for dinner.
00:03The food's not even here yet.
00:04What the hell is taking so long?
00:06Hey, we don't speak that way in this house.
00:08Um, Mom totally does.
00:10Where do you think I learned it?
00:11I'm giving this guy two stars if he doesn't get here in the next 30 seconds.
00:15Someday you'll have to get a job, so be nice.
00:18You get that I might seriously die of starvation, right?
00:21The theatrics, he gets from you.
00:24Finally, he's here. He's rolling up.
00:28I'm very sorry. I'm late. I'm very, very sorry.
00:36You all right there, pal?
00:38I'm okay. And the food is still warm.
00:41Please, I still need five stars.
00:44I think you might need a doctor.
00:46I already accepted another order, but thank you.
00:49Are you sure? Because you don't look too good.
00:51Oh, she's okay. Listen, I think we need to call you an ambulance, okay?
00:54I'm fine. Call an ambulance!
00:56But I have another order, and I need my bike. It's a lot.
01:00Okay, I'll get your bike. Okay, Yadda, we need help.
01:02No!
01:03Your blood test indicates you have chronic kidney failure.
01:07This ultrasound will help us figure out the problem, and we'll go from there, okay?
01:10Okay.
01:16How often do you urinate on an average day?
01:19I, uh, try not to.
01:22Uh, what do you mean? I don't understand.
01:24Most restaurants won't let us use their bathrooms, even though we're making half their business.
01:28I have to go out of my way to find one, and that means money out of my pocket.
01:32So, you don't drink anything while you're working? Not water? Nothing?
01:36I drink a little, but I try not to take any breaks.
01:39Howdy got a public lunation ticket for $500, so now I do not risk it.
01:44I understand that, but...
01:45I barely make enough to live here as it is.
01:48And everything else I send to my country to bring over my family.
01:52My, uh, wife and son.
01:56Beautiful.
01:57I'm a father too, so I understand what we have to do for our families, but something has to change.
02:02You are dehydrating your body, and the urine you are making is pooling in your kidneys,
02:07because you're not relieving yourself.
02:09So, we're going to need to...
02:12Did you get it?
02:14Okay, good, good.
02:16Uh, bring it here.
02:18No, I need it tonight, Amu.
02:20Abe.
02:20Then have my heart, bring it.
02:21Abe.
02:23Oh, hold on.
02:24Forget about your bike for a second.
02:25You are very sick, and if you continue this way, you're going to kill yourself.
