00:07It's very important for us to show our audience that the past doesn't just live in the past, it lives

00:17We're here at Everyman Stratford International for a very special screening of possession.
00:22We've worked really closely with Sky and Now TV to bring this special screening to audiences to celebrate seeing Jamaica
00:28on screen.
00:28Looking so beautiful.
00:31It was really exciting, it was scary at the moment.
00:34It's really showcasing Caribbean cinematography and storytelling at its finest in an authentic way the world hasn't truly seen yet
00:40in this area that we're in now.
00:41It's a little bit jumpy, like you are going to be like, oh, like kind of thing, but there's also
00:46a lot of humour.
00:47It will like test your belief, I think as well.
00:50It's showcased what my people are doing, you know, because I'm Jamaican and I'm really proud of it.
00:56It was just so nice to see something was shot in Jamaica, what doesn't fit into, you know, the stereotypes
01:01of what Jamaican people must be.
01:03When this script reached, it had everything in it that was exciting.
01:06It had the supernatural element, it had global ramifications, it had history.
01:11And it's moving, it's entertaining.
01:13I want to make stuff that's exciting.
01:14It has to have purpose.
01:16The more purpose it has, it's almost the more right it gives you to get more thrilling and entertaining.
01:21The shoot them up, bang, bang, the smoke weed, bus gun, this with gala, have fun.

01:28And I for one really wanted to share Jamaica in a different light, you know what I mean?
01:35I really want to big up We Are Powerable.
01:37You guys do an amazing event in Jamaica as well.
01:41It was really great to partner with you on this.
01:43No one in the industry is doing what We Are Powerable are doing.
01:46Beautiful venue, there's food, there's drink.
01:48You guys really look after the people and you provide great, great, great opportunities.
