China's largest homegrown tunnel boring machine by diameter to date rolled off the production line in Henan province's Zhengzhou city on Sept 15. The domestically developed "China Railway 1662" has an excavation diameter of 16.68m, a total length of 125m, and weighs about 4,800 tonnes.
