In the end, the Marquis's household is dismantled, Elena and her mother are imprisoned for life, and Aurora is enshrined as the Holy Maiden of Moonlight. She marries Kane, marking them forever with a sacred bond, as twin wolves howl triumphantly beneath the moon.
