The 80th anniversary celebrations for an Italian legend, the Vespa, are in full swing across Rome and in the main location at the Foro Italico, which is hosting the Vespa Village. After the close of yesterday’s opening day for VESPA ROMA 2026 - 80 YEARS OF AN ICON with the Ditonellapiaga showcase and music from DJ Molella, the festivities are continuing today with still more Vespisti arriving from all over the world and crowds of fans visiting the Vespa Village.
In the unique setting of the Vespa Stadio dei Marmi, thousands of people are immersing themselves in the Vespa universe, with the exhibition of the current range, the official store, and entertainment from Radio Deejay continuing every day on the main stage until midnight. Besides the Vespa Roma 2026 t-shirt and sweatshirt, created specifically for this unique event, visitors to the official store discovered the extensive 80th Anniversary collection, and the exclusive partnership with Assouline, a world-famous luxury brand, which has produced a special-edition helmet and an impressive Vespa photography book.
A highlight of the many activities organised today for the Vespa community was the European Vespa Rally Championship, in which Vespa riders competed in special heats featuring timed sections with a set average speed and navigation using RoadBook. Meanwhile, in the Gymkhana World Championship, numerous Vespas took part in traditional skills trials around technical obstacles, to test their agility, balance and concentration.
