00:00Along with Lille and Monaco, they sit joint top of Ligue 1 after three wins and a draw under Franck
00:05Hayes.
00:06And that's a great reputation domestically.
00:09And Bizarrely, he won his 17th Europa League game tonight.
00:12It's a big opportunity for 17-year-old Luka Weinhang in midfield.
00:15He makes his debut in Europe after featuring in the qualifiers.
00:18They've won a big squad with them as they're having a mini training camp in the next few days.
00:22So plenty to pick from.
00:23Brian Reynolds makes his first start for the club at right back with Shemisaf Frankowski and Esteban Lepo.
00:29So three goals in four games this season.
00:33252 days' time, it's the Europa League final over the border in Germany.
00:38He managed the best ever total in his career.
00:43Inside by Altamari.
00:46Camera.
00:53Big out swinger by Shemansky.
00:56Acrobatics once and twice by Lepo.
00:58It's rifled in now.
01:00And Ren lead with just seven minutes gone.
01:07Their purple patch at the start of this season looks set to continue.
01:14And from A's side, lead very early on here.
01:19He got the winner on Friday.
01:24There was a check going on.
01:27And the referee going to have a look at the screen now.
01:34Well, what's of an arm use in there?
01:38Well, there was an arm up.
01:42And Thomasson here.
01:46Well, you're not allowed to score immediately after handling it.
01:49Then it was played back to him and then he put it in.
01:56And the referee, I imagine, is going to rule this goal out.
02:00Handball.
02:01No goal.
02:02Back to 0-0.
02:03Now the fourth official trying to tell him to calm down.
02:09Altamari in.
02:10Good save.
02:11And the rebound can't be forced, though.
02:19Here comes the free kick.
02:23And it's got to be.
02:25And touch time right in front of goal by Paul Conner.
02:35Although it doesn't look like it's going to count.
02:44But no, offside.
02:46So the goal does not stand.
02:49Well, that must have been extremely close there.
02:53It was silly on the replay that we just had.
02:55It looked as though Conner's run was good.
03:05Offside leading up to the goal.
03:07Means that it's fighting a one-man mission out there at the moment.
03:14Now it goes really, really spaced across, so he goes back instead.
03:19And Weidhandel.
03:26Goal as it is at half-time, though both sides thought they were ahead at different stages.
03:37We restart here with Rennes pumping it forward and pumping it out of play.
03:42Wayward from Adria Thomason, who thought he'd scored in the first half,
03:46but he was penalised for handball.
03:48Paul Coller as well had the ball in the net, disallowed by VAR for offside.
04:06Half-harder clearance knocked on by Blas.
04:11Altamari into Le Paul.
04:17Rennes attacking at pace, and Sturm didn't have numbers behind the ball on this occasion.
04:22Nice ball across the face, and Le Paul just couldn't open his body up enough.
04:35Naguida's ball across, and that wasn't too far away at all.
04:43Szymanski, Le Paul, fizzes one wide.
04:51Namagaisvili.
04:53Oh, beautifully weighted, smart turn, what a save by Samba!
04:58And the follow-up header there for Beganovic, straight back at the goalkeeper as well.
05:04Namagaisvili there, he's casually rolling it inside.
05:08And a turn and hit by Herbert.
05:16Smart move, well-crafted.
05:19Just lacking the finish from two players.
05:22Oh, disperse.
05:37Well, that's a smart ball, and Le Paul brings the save, and Blas!
05:41Double stop.
05:43Le Paul again, side-netting.
05:45And both goalkeepers on top here.
05:50Well, suddenly a flurry of chances at both ends of the field.
05:54Blas with a follow-up, and the goalkeeper spread himself ever so well there.
06:01Mujakov, a 20-24 pick-up from Lokomotiv Mostwa.
06:09Greater Salzburg-Aryan.
06:20She got his UEFA A-license when he was just 24.
06:26Sent to his first coaching course at the age of just 19.
06:29Blas!
06:31And the blast was created, and they joined in 1949.
06:38And here they come here.
06:41Hired over by Hurdle.
06:44Nordat.
06:46Fresh off the bench.
06:49Nagida.
06:53Rogier.
06:54Finds his room.
06:56Pushed away there by Kujakov.
07:06Play goes on.
07:08Well, that's put wide there by Brian Reynolds, who had a fantastic sight of goal.
07:14And this is his second appearance this season.
07:16Came on as a serve against Lask as well.
07:21Sabre.
07:22Oh, back to Sabre.
07:24That's really good.
07:27Summer pick-up from Blauweiss-Linz.
07:30Maybe he could have gone a cross-goal there, and maybe he wasn't going in anyway,
07:34but Sabre not prepared to take that risk.
07:40Spursk!
07:53Up was Kouhaji, and over the bar by Hurdle.
08:00but no more it ends goalless a point apiece on match day one for some grandson red
08:06and i think at the end of it all they'll be quite happy they get out with something from this
08:11game
