Genden Phuntsok stars as Tenzing Norgay alongside Tom Hiddleston as Edmund Hillary in the true story of their historic first successful summit of Mount Everest.  The film revisits the extraordinary 1953 expedition through the story of Norgay, the legendary mountaineer whose role in one of history’s greatest achievements takes center stage. Willem Dafoe also stars.  Tenzing opens in select theaters October 9, 2026 and streams October 16 on Apple TV.
